Chapter Notes

THE PLAN!!!!!! The Plan!!! It's a fucking ridiculous plan but it's gonna be fun I think lmao plus this is a ridiculous story so it fits

Also I love the classic dramatic gringotts inheritance reveal and also when a superextra trunk is purchased so I had to put one of those in here and obvs the obligatory wand scene

As is in keeping with the general stupidity of this fic, our dear Belladonna is like obscenely overpowered in every possible way. Like yes, she's the an impossibly smart ten year old. Yes, she has at least five more titles than any other member of the Wizengamot. Yes, she's got more magical power in her pinky than half of all witches and wizards. And what?? Mind your own business

Anyway as per again 'thoughts' "speech" and a new one! Other languages are in italics (parseltongue for examps)

Two days later, directly after breakfast, Belladonna put on her least-worn clothes, collected up her meagre savings and set off towards Charing Cross. Being a Sunday, she had the whole day free, another special privilege the matron had granted her, alongside her private room, for her truly exemplary behaviour over the years.

Like a woman on a mission, because that's what she was, Belladonna swept through the crowds of London with one destination in mind: The Leaky Cauldron. After roughly an hour, her navigation bore fruit so the young girl greeted Tom behind the bar and he happily showed her the entryway to Diagon Alley.

And wow. To risk sounding a bit idiotic, it was magical. But it was! The magic in the air was almost tangible, stronger than anything Belladonna had ever felt if only because of the sheer magnitude of magic that was being used.

Tom sent an indulgent smile to where she was standing, almost agog, although she would never cross the border into full-blown agogness, and said, "Off you go then. Have fun!"

And so off she went, brushing off her momentary lapse in composure and heading into her new world.

Her first destination was what had been described to her as "an enormous building made entirely of marble with lots of pillars and grandeur" by Professor Sprout. Suffice to say, the description was entirely accurate. Belladonna approached the enormous building made entirely of marble with lots of pillars and grandeur, smiled and nodded politely at the goblins guarding the door, who nodded back after a second, and got into line for the next free space.

Eventually she approached a free teller and smiled pleasantly at them, "Hello, may I ask your name, please?"

The goblin stared down at her for several long moments before smirking, intrigued by the young witch being so polite to goblins, "It's Ironclaw and I think I'm going to like you. May I ask your name and your business at Gringotts today?"

"I'm Belladonna Blackwell and I'm here to get an inheritance test and also to collect the Hogwarts scholarship money for my supplies."

"Very well, let's get the inheritance test done first. Griphook will take you to one of our

Inheritance offices if you'd please follow him"

"Brilliant! Thank you, Ironclaw," Belladonna said chirpily before following the aforementioned Griphook down a dimly-lit corridor, lined with moving paintings from what looked like goblin battles. She was led into a small square room where another goblin was sat behind a large, mahogany desk. Looking around as she sat down opposite them, she took note of the large axes and swords that were displayed, gleaming, on the walls and smiled in a way that was more natural to her. She could tell that these creatures were equally as vicious as her.
