Elena:

I can feel my cheeks hurting slightly, from the smile that's on my face as I walk away from Dean's room. I gently raise my fingers to my lips. We kissed, we actually kissed and not once, but twice. It was unexpected, and it felt so unreal, but it was absolutely amazing. I never felt something like this, not with Stefan, not with Damon. This was different. As soon as our lips met, it was like everything around me fell in place. As if all I needed to be whole again, was Dean. I knew I felt something for, Dean but I didn't know it was this. Not to mention it wasn't just me, he felt it too.

"Hey, Elena!" Says a voice from behind me. I turn around and spot Sam coming from behind me with his duffel around his shoulder, and following him is Dean. My heart begins to flutter when Dean and I make eye contact. I try my best to hide my excitement, upon seeing him by focusing my attention to Sam.

"Hey, guys. You two are all packed I see," I say. Sam nods and Dean just looks at me with a grin across his face. I peel my eyes away from him once again, focusing on Sam trying my best to keep the heat in my cheeks from rising. I stand on my toes to wrap my arms around Sam and he leans down to return the gesture. "Well, okay. You guys be safe and come back soon!" Sam chuckles and walks past me leaving me with Dean. His grin grows and he spreads his arms out.

"Hey, you just going to leave me hanging," He jokes. I smile and shake my head as I close the space between us and wrap my arms around him. He gently squeezes me in his arms. "Come back soon." I whisper in his ear.

"I'll be back before you know it." He whispers in mine. When we pull apart, he places his hand gently around the nape of my neck and pulls me slightly towards him and presses his lips against my head. He then walks past me and heads off after his brother, leaving me alone with a racing heart and flushed cheeks.

Dean gave me a car, which I'm pretty sure he hotwired and stole, but I didn't mind. It at least made me mobile. So I spend the rest of my day out in town doing some light shopping and simply just enjoying the sun. I figured I needed a little air to get the thoughts in my head more organized. I had to think about what this thing with Dean was. From my understanding, he just came out of a yearlong relationship and he wasn't looking for another one, yet he kissed me.

A slight panic started to settle in as I considered the fact that, maybe Dean was just looking for something with no strings attached. No. He wouldn't do that, not with me at least. Or would he? My thoughts end up raising more flags and questions rather than answers. The only thing that is certain is that I care about Dean, probably a lot more than I should. Especially being that we've known each other for such a short amount of time. I'm not really sure what I'm expecting from him, and I'm not at all sure what he's expecting from me. I guess I'll just have to wait until he returns from the hunt to speak to him.

When I return to the bunker, I immediately feel uneasy. I open the door slowly, leading into the main room.

"Hello?" I say loudly into the empty room. I shrug when there is no answer. I guess I'm just paranoid. I'm putting the few items I purchased on a table in the library, when hear a sound. I could swear it was the sound of wings flapping. I go towards where I heard the sound. I'm in the main room, and once again I find nothing. That is until I turn around to make my way back into the library. I end up crashing right into Cas. The expression on his face doesn't look comforting as he usually was. He had his eyes narrowed at me and his mouth clamped shut.

I swallow the lump that had developed in my throat before I speak and let out a breath. "Oh, Cas. It's just you." I say as I try to force a smile. His expression doesn't change, he simply lifts up two fingers and places them onto my forehead, and everything goes black.
