Vincent sat on the bed, his tail laying on his boyfriend's lap. He worked on an art project while vaguely listening to Asa rant about a coworker putting poppies and peonies together for a boyfriend who was about to propose to his partner.
"Hey, Asa, love you i truly do. But you have gone on about the poppies for the past -Vincent looked at his watch- two hours. Please. Tell me, what else happened?" Vincent looked at Asa with his hand resting on his cheek and elbow on his knee. Oli looked between his boyfriend and his boyfriend's sister(friend?) and smiled.
"I dunno man, maybe im telling you this so you don't make the same mistake..." Asa made the sly comment with a very deliberate tone. Vincent looks taken aback and oli looks away lifting his hand from Vincent's tail to cover his mouth while looking away.
"I- uh- what." Vincent sputtered, finally catching onto Asa's words. "Dude you can't joke like that!"
