They say the world is a dangerous place
It isn't a lie, but the danger is us
We can live, we can laugh, we can sing, we can dance
But we put ourselves in dangers way
It doesn't matter how hard we try to avoid it
It will always be in the back of our minds
Somehow we're still going strong
Though at times we go through troubles
With diseases and sicknesses
We still survive
We're still a dangerous species
Yes there are sharks
But you can't convince me they are the most dangerous species
We kill people, we lock people up, we build things to keep people out
We make horrible decisions for our kind
