Chapter 15: Escape

A large meeting full of members from The Scouts, The Garrison Regiment, and The Military Police has begun to take place after the escape of Eren Jaeger and the goals of The Jaegerists, the new anti miliary insurgents begin to be known. The group sees to make sure Eren meets with his half brother, Zeke. In addition to reforming the military with Eren as it's head.

Ms. Azumabito, a member of the the Shogun clan from the Eastern Land of Hizuru, sits among them, listening to all 3 sides bicker amomgst themselves as Dot Pixis defuses the quarreling.

"Hange, how many soliders know where Zeke is confined?" Pixis asks the co commander of The Scouts

"Captain Levi is guarding him as well as an escort of 30 soliders. I've informed Godzilla and Kong of our situation as well, in addition to 3 soliders who deliver supplies, and counting myself, that's it." She replies

"Please have those three brought here." Pixis requests "Nile, is The Queen's residence secure?"

"The location is a well kept secret but I'll double check." Nile replies

"We all know what Eren wants. First, he'll seek out Zeke, and if that fails, Historia. So we must keep both of them out of his reach at all costs!" Pixis says

"YES, SIR!" The soliders sound off

Armin steps forward and speaks to Pixis next

"Sir, you're the commander with the highest seniority, with Premier Zachary dead, you're the only one fit to lead in this ordeal. So, what strategy should we adopt right now?" Armin asks

Pixis hums as he thinks to himself

"Well...it seems to me that they got us beat. So I was thinking we'd surrender!" He speaks without hesitation

All within hearing range are shocked by Pixis' input and with due cause.

"Against enemies within our ranks we have no proper recourse. Even if we did smoke all of them out, imagine how much blood we'd have to spill. We have no time to waste on such folly. It's the decisions we made as leaders that caused these soliders to desert us. THAT'S what brought about our defeat." He says

"SO WE JUST BEND THE KNEE TO THE JAEGER BROTHERS?!?" Nile asks

"No, not entirely." Pixis says "We'll use Zeke's location as a means of negotiating and convincing Eren that there are other enemies, and once we've established peace, we'll stake Eldia's survival on a test run of The Rumbling. If that's the price for saving hundreds if not thousands of our comrades then we'll pay it!"

"NOW THAT'S ENOUGH TALKING, LET'S GET TO WORK!" Pixis shouts

"YES, COMMANDER!" The soliders shout back

"Commander Pixis..." Ms. Azumabito says

"Please forgive that unsightly display." Pixis replies

"It's quite alright." The black haired woman says "Every nation goes through this."

"For your safety, I suggest you wait at the port." Pixis says

"We hope for a swift end to this turmoil and for Eldia's victory." Ms. Azumabito says before she turns to Mikasa

Ms. Azumabito's plea to Mikasa to make for their ship if things take a turn for the worst is turned down instantly, calling Ms. Azumabito out for only wanting Eldia's resources and wanting The Rumbling to succeed, Mikasa makes her allegiance to Eldia, and the people of Paradis known.
