Daybeds

After the Islanders first Sunday roast dinner, you watch the evening sun as it starts to set over the sprawling Mallorcan countryside.

Hope speaks up and asks the other girls, "So, what do you ladies think about Noah dating a granny?"

Priya and Grace gaze at each other with a sly grin before continuing their discussion. You commented first, "You do have a bit of a granny vibe."

"A granny vibe?!" Hope let out a shocked gasp and questioned, "What does that even mean? What even is a granny vibe?!"

You made a conscious effort to suppress a laugh at the horrified look on her face. Hope was too focused on checking her face for wrinkles to see the playful banter that you and Priya were exchanging with one another, so she missed it. "You know, just like you might suck on boiled sweets or something."

"OMG. Does that mean he thinks I look old?" You and Priya were laughing so hard that you fell over on the daybeds, which interrupted Hope's train of thought as she was ready to go off on another tangent. She snorted at her own gullibility and shook her head. "I will get even. I can't believe you were successful in fooling me. I knew there's no way I look like a granny!"

Priya chuckled and said, "Of course you don't look like a granny, Hope!"

Grace tilted her head at a few different angles while looking at Hope and replied, "I mean, maybe from certain angles?"

Hope rolls her eyes playfully and flicks your arm. "I don't give off granny vibes!"

The three of you share a laugh.

Priya asked after they settled down, "How do you think everybody else is feeling after all that kissing?"

"I can still feel the tension in the air, to be honest," Hope replied, and then Priya agreed with her and said, "Yeah, it's defo there still."
