Nadia’s P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning in my bed still dressed in my clothes from yesterday. I didn’t realise how though because the last thing I remember was sitting on the sofa watching a movie with… Joel. Joel, where was he?  I ran out of my room and checked each of my spare rooms but he wasn’t in there. I also knocked on the bathroom door and he wasn’t in there either. I ran downstairs and checked the living room, but Joel wasn’t there. Finally, I ran into the kitchen expecting to see Joel there but it was empty. I noticed a note on the worktop and read it. It was handwriting I didn’t recognise:

Hey Nadia, I left last night after I put you in your bed, don’t worry I got a taxi – see you tomorrow at work.

So that was how I got into my bed, Joel obviously carried me upstairs. I picked my phone up and sent Joel a text.

Me:

Hey Joel, did you get home fine!!xxx

Joel ;D xx:

Yeah I did Nad, where are you? Aren’t you supposed to be in work??xxx

Sugar! I had forgotten about work. I looked at the clock and it read 8:34am. I was over half an hour late. Nev was definitely gonna kill me.

Me:

I’ll be there in a minute just leaving now!xxx
