Man's Best Friend

A dog's loyalty is unrivaled
Their love and devotion unbridled
Through thick and thin, they stand by our side
In moments of danger, they never hide

One day I found myself lost and alone
In the wilderness, far from home
Suddenly, a growl made me freeze
A bear was closing in with such ease

But then came a blur, a furry friend
A brave dog on whom I could depend
With barks and snarls, he scared the bear away
And saved my life on that fateful day

His wagging tail and joyous bark
Made my heart light and my feet dark
For no matter where life may lead
A dog's love is all that we need
