Chapter 12: Farewell

Ruby got up as she heard someone knocking at the door

She looked next to her to see Izek gone but left a Blue Rose for her

She smiled as she got up and covered herself with robes and opened the door

It was Rona

"It's time to get ready Ruby" She said taking out some clothes and preparing the bath

After a few minutes Rona helped Ruby get in the bathroom and help her

"How was last night for you Rona?" She asked

"It was fun! Andy came by and we had a sleepover!"

Ruby choked on air

"You did?....."

"Yea! We ate some snacks ,told stories about each other and more but we eventually fell asleep!" She said helping Ruby out

"and you?" Rona said smiling

"O-Oh....Ummm I had couple time with Izek" She said flustered

"aw how cute also....did you know Andy will be coming with us?" She asked

"oh yes?"

"Master gave him a choice to come along as he didn't want to be with the knights that failed you anymore so he allowed it."

"thats good" at least they won't be alone anymore

After helping Ruby change Rona left to check if everything was ready

Ruby went over to the mirror as she looked around

This will be the last time she is here

After that there will be no turning back she will finally be free

Ruby thoughts were interrupted when the door opened and Is walked in and gave her a hug

"everything is ready Shall we go?"

"no lets wait a little longer" Ruby said

"If thats what you want"

They stayed for a few minutes in silence hugging each other

They would definitely miss each other

But now Ruby's would gain her freedom

And Izek will get rid of all that hurt her

meaning her family

After a few more minutes Izek took Ruby's hand and guided her outside

There that army was already waiting

While on the other side Rona and Andy were sitting on Frosty with Popo and Chirpy with them

Izek Walked her over and helped her get on

As she did she gave Izek one last hug in kiss

"Why are you crying?" Izek said stopping her

"I'll miss you too....I'll miss you so much but this is a must once its all over I will come back and see you first Alright?" Izek said pressing his forehead onto Ruby's

"I know but....I" She started crying as Izek hugged her tighter

"I Know it's hard......"

"But I promise...."

"I will be back"

"Alright..."Ruby said kissing him one last time

But this time the kiss was longer

Finally after letting go Izek gave her a small smile as he left and

went way with the Army

Once they were gone Frosty started to lift up in the air and leave 

As they left Ruby took one last glazed at the Dukedom as Rona grabbed her hand and smiled

"Farewell"
