In certain situations, Drew's body can begin to liquefy due to excessive nervousness or stress. Although he has the ability to intentionally initiate this melting process, he rarely does so because he finds it uncomfortable and risks melting too much. If he melts excessively, he may experience sharp pain, but if he loses his sanity before this point, the pain will be mitigated. Despite this, excessive melting can prove fatal for Drew.

The origin of the melting is his immunity to the virus, this immunity cannot be given to others even if attempted.
