Ruby's Point of View

I don't know if I can do this. Sapphire my love, my joy, my life does bit remember me. All the other gems are so inconsiderate. "WHATS THE POINT ANYMORE!" I scream, falling on the bed in my room. There must be a way to get her back.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. "Rubes," I heard. It was Amethyst. I yell a simple 'Come In.' "Hey Ruby, sorry 'bout what happened to Sapph. You must be upset." She said.

"Amethyst," I sniffle. "Have you ever lost the love of your life."

"Well, the one I love doesn't have the same feelings for me as I have for her. Sometimes I think she blames me for Rose's death. I lead Greg over the fence you know." She starts to cry with me, both of us sniffling. "You have it worse. I can't imagine how you feel. We should talk more often Ruby." Amethyst pulled me in for a hug and walked out. We should talk more often.
