Mile was nervous as he sat across from his mother in the rooftop restaurant. It was a fancy place with a view of the city skyline, and he had chosen it specifically for this conversation. He took a deep breath and looked at his mother, who was watching him intently.

"Mom, there's something I need to tell you," he said, feeling his heart rate rise.

His mother raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"

Mile hesitated for a moment, then decided to just say it, "I'm dating someone."

His mother's expression softened, "Oh, Mile. That's wonderful news. Who is it?"

Mile took a deep breath, "It's Apo, Mom. Apo."

His mother's eyes widened in surprise, "Apo? The one from that series you were in together?"

Mile nodded, "Yes, that's him."

His mother smiled, "Well, I'm happy for you. You always spoke highly of him. When did this happen?"

Mile told his mother about how they had grown close during the filming of the series, and how their friendship had developed into something more. He also told her about how they were keeping their relationship secret for the time being.

His mother listened attentively, nodding as he spoke. When he finished, she took his hand across the table.

"I'm so glad you found someone, Mile. And I'm even happier that it's someone you care for deeply. You know I always want you to be happy."

Mile felt a weight lift off his shoulders. He had been worried about how his mother would react, but her acceptance and support meant everything to him.

As they continued their dinner, Mile's mother talked about her travels, and Mile found himself missing their trips together. He realized he hadn't gone on a trip with her since he had started filming the series. He made a mental note to plan a trip for the two of them soon.

The dinner ended on a positive note, with Mile feeling closer to his mother than ever before. As they hugged goodbye, he knew that he had made the right decision in telling her about Apo. He felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders, and he knew that he could face whatever challenges lay ahead with Apo by his side.

Mile stepped out of the elevator and walked to his apartment door. He fished the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door. As he stepped inside, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. His conversation with his mother had gone better than he had expected.

He took off his shoes and headed to the living room, grabbing his phone along the way. He plopped down on the couch and dialed Apo's number.

"Hey, how did it go?" Apo asked as soon as he picked up.

"It went well. I told her about us," Mile replied, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"And? How did she take it?" Apo asked eagerly.

"She was surprised, of course. But she was happy for us. She said she could see how much I care about you," Mile said, a smile spreading across his face.

"I'm glad she took it well. I'm so lucky to have you," Apo said, his voice soft and full of emotion.

Mile felt his heart swell with affection. "No, I'm the lucky one. I never thought I could be this happy," he replied, his voice filled with gratitude.

They chatted for a little while longer, discussing their plans for the weekend, but Mile's thoughts kept drifting back to his conversation with his mother. He couldn't help but feel a sense of closure and relief now that he had told her the truth. And he was grateful to have Apo by his side through it all.
