A/N: 1) little disclaimer here; in this chapter they talk about how pink is for girls and not for boys, so very stereotypical, I do personally not think that way. I don't think colours and tight to a gender or anything, but it's the way people used think back in the day so I wanted to portray that. So, please don't attack me 😂
2) I am away on tour for 3 weeks  (EU/UK/IRL) which I'm ever excited about but that means I won't really have time to write since I'll just be super busy. I'll also be away in June/July for tour. Plus just having a lot of gigs in general, so please bare with me! Really trying to get new chapter up for y'all asap! But life is gonna be a bit hectic for the next few months. Just a heads-up.

LOS ANGELES, JULY 2, 1983

After their gathering at the Rainbow, Nikki and Angie decided to go home instead of going out with the Crüe. Nikki wanted this day to be about Angie, he wanted to spend it alone with her. The confession he made to himself this morning remained in his thoughts the whole day. It was eating him up on the inside, wanting to tell her how he felt but he just couldn't. It scared him, he suddenly was feeling all these things that he didn't even think he'd ever be capable of feeling. And it scared him that she wouldn't feel the same way about him. Seeing the little interaction between her and Tommy this afternoon made his blood boil, he didn't want any other man to touch her, to look at her, she was his and his only. Nikki wanted to make sure of it, he wanted to claim her as his own.

Suddenly this whole idea of having a baby wasn't that strange; maybe it was a sign after all, like Angie had said. This baby was theirs, a product of their love. Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic, they never plannend on having a child in the near future, but it was theirs and it connected them, a bond, almost like a marriage. And a marriage meant she was his. That's the way he saw it.

All of these thoughts were going through his head as the two of them were cuddling up on the couch watching Dallas. Nikki hated the show but Angie loved the soap opera, so he let her watch it. Although 'watching' maybe wasn't the right word, as of right now Angie was half asleep with her head resting on Nikki's lap. He was stroking her soft, long blonde hair as he was absentmindedly staring at the television. The outro music of Dallas seemed to snap both of them out of their daze.

"Is it over already?" Angie mumbled sleepily and opened her eyes again.
"I guess." Nikki replied, picking up the bottle of beer next to him and downing the remaining bit in one go. "D'you wanna go to bed? You seem pretty tired." He grinned.
Angie yawned and sat up, running a hand over her face. "To be honest, I wouldn't mind going to sleep right now."
"Alright, let's go upstairs then." Nikki replied and picked up the remote control, turning off the tv. "Oh, you know what. I actually have a present for you."
"A present?" Angie asked confused as she stood up, taking the empty glasses from the table.
"Yeah, it's in the ensuite upstairs." Nikki replied, following her into the kitchen as he switched off the lights in the living room.
"Why did you get me a present?" She asked, placing the dishes onto the kitchen counter.
"Cause it's your big day, you deserve it. And I like spoiling my girl." He smirked as he wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"It's not like it's my birthday or something." Angie chuckled, still a bit surprised by Nikki's affectionate mood today.
"You better get ready for that day." He chuckled back as she leaned her back against his chest, tilting up her head so she could look at him. She placed her small, soft hands on his strong arms that were wrapped around her waist. Nikki leaned down, pressing his lips against hers. Angie could taste nicotine and the beer he had consumed this night on his lips and she loved it, she wanted to a drink so bad. She slightly turned out so she got better access to him, deepening the kiss.
"You taste so good." She mumbled against his lips, earning a smirk from Nikki. "I just want a drink so bad." She whined as she pulled back a little.
"Just get one. I'm sure it will be fine." He shrugged.
"I already had some this afternoon, that's probably more than enough..." She sighed. "Let's just go to bed." Angie said, trying to get her mind off of it as she let go off him.
