No one's pov
You and the boys are going out, to a public beach. It's not too far away.
It's pretty crowded when you get there. You and the boys situate in a spot next to some boys that look around your age. Heeseung, Jay, Jake and Sunghoon go to the water. Jungwon and Riki going to get food.
You recognized two of them, Taehyun and Beomgyu. They were with 3 other boys. You didn't recognize them though.
You heard Beomgyu is in a committed relationship now. Taehyun has been going to college.
"Isn't that Beomgyu?" You whisper to Sunoo and he gasps.
"It is." He says. "He's with Taehyun, is that Yeonjun?!"
You get confused. Who was Yeonjun.
"Yeonjun?" You ask.
"He was the most popular boy in school before Hyunjin." You say and nod.
It goes like this often. There's been a declared 'hottest boy in school' every year, even if not directly.
"Oh." You say and nodded.
"Oh hey y/n!" Beomgyu says and sits in front of you.
"Hey." You say. You're quiet nervous. Because of your last interaction.
"Hey, I want to apologize. I was such a dick in high school. Wanting to you know, and when I saw you at the party last year, I was no better. But I feel really bad. I was a disgusting person and I changed. Will you forgive me?" Beomgyu says and this is the last thing you expect. An apology.
"Yeah, of course." You say and Beomgyu smiles at that.
"You and Heeseung?" He asks.
"Oh yeah, we're good." You say.
"You know, me and Heeseung used to be pretty good friends before I went to college. I was one of the only people he could talk about you with. He called me one random day saying 'you know the new freshmen I'm friends with' and I say yeah, of course or something like that and he said 'his sister, his sister!' He went on a rant about you for 30 minutes. He always liked you, Y/N." He says and you smile.
"Really?" You ask.
"Nothing truer." He says and you see the 4 other boys walk up to you.
"Hey Gyu, who's this?" One guy says, he has blonde dyed hair. Taehyun notices and backs away.
"Beomgyu!" Taehyun whisper shouts.
"No it's chill." Beomgyu says. "Y/N meet Taehyun, Kai, Soobin and Yeonjun. Don't know if you've met them or not."
"I never met Taehyun directly. But Jake did threaten him." You say and shake your head.
"That is true." Taehyun confirms.
"So you and Heeseung, a thing now?" Taehyun asks.
"Yup. We've been a thing for almost a year now. Crazy how time flys." You say and smile.
"Let's play volleyball." Soobin says and you nod.
You see Heeseung, Jay, Jake and Sunghoon in their own world. Jungwon and Riki is nowhere to be seen.
So it's just the 7 of you.
