-it seems we passed out. we wake up in the gym of hopes peak, i don't quite remember much, but there's this...weird bear.-

-...im unsure if it's entirety a bear. seems to be a robot of some sort...interesting.-

oh! you know what they say "don't judge a book by its cover!" maybe monokuma is a great teacher! why not give monokuma a shot? after all, i'm sure that monokuma, a fellow ultimate talent, might be great at what he does and be able to help you in some way! (like helping me and ibuki with our talents maybe?) i think he definitely is capable in that right and should give him a chance!

shuichi looks at monokuma as it introduces itself.  hmm... a bear for a headmaster? quite interesting. i thought hope's peak only accepted human students, monokuma. i'm not sure if i'll be able to learn from a bear. i know it's in my nature as a detective to be suspicious, but i can't help but be a little concerned about your credentials.                    

-everyones voices became more and more distant as i walked away. i decided to keep my distance from everyone, for now that is.-

-there was this particular student that caught my eye, mostly. i'm certain his name was nagito. nagito komaeda....thats a pretty name.-

-as i was walking, i felt as if someone was following me. i decided to turn around. nagito was following me.-

....you're really interesting... you have such a unique presence. you're a little strange, in fact... i wonder if that makes you more or less trustworthy... well, i think it might be fun to talk to you. what about you? is it okay if i continue speaking to you?
