You and Mordecai were good friends knew each other since you two were kittens and you weren't gonna lie you grew a crush on him growing up but never told him cause you were afraid he'll reject you or you'll just make your friendship with him awkward but it will have to be sooner or later so you decided to tell him one night you guys were chasing down three cats named Rocky, Freckle and Ivy trying to shoot them down but they eventually got away Mordecai was upset about it but changed his mood up a bit he was on the phone while you, Serafine and her brother Nicodeme were waiting outside for him Serafine looked over at you cause you were looking at Mordecai

Serafine:Why don't you ask him out already?
Nicodeme:Yeah just do it already
You:I can't, what if he doesn't even like me back?
Serafine:Well then that's just life
Nicodeme:But it's worth a shot to ask him out
You:I guess you guys are right
Serafine:He's coming so now it's your chance
You:Okay wish me luck

They both gave you a thumbs up Mordecai coming out with a annoyed expression he looked over to you and smiled he won't lie him seeing your smile always brighten his day

Mordecai:Well hi Y/N what's up?
You:Hi umm, I wanted to ask you something
Mordecai:Oh, what is it?
You:I've always had a crush on you

Mordecai seemed shocked as a blush came across his face his tail wagging left to right you then grabbed his hand as you blushed as well

You:I was thinking if you wanted to go out with me
Mordecai:I don't know what to say
You:It's okay if you don't feel the same way
Mordecai:Y/N I can't help but feel the same way
You:Really you do?
Mordecai:Yeah I always liked you

You both hugged as Serafine and Nicodeme clapped and whistled making you both laugh you and Mordecai soon kissed holding each other tightly

Serafine:How much you wanna bet that they'll bang?
Nicodeme:I don't have to they'll probably will

They both laughed as Mordecai cleared his throat at them basically telling them to shut up which they did you laughed thinking this was funny you thanked Serafine and Nicodeme for helping you with this if it weren't for them you and Mordecai wouldn't be dating by now you couldn't ask for better friends and a boyfriend it felt like a family and you loved it
