Chapter 4

                               ~ That night ~

~ memory of 2 years ago~
" this way" came her voice in the forest so he followed and ran across the branches to find where exactly she went " ma love wait for me" he said getting just close enough to gently pull her into his arms he noticed how her ears perked up then gently settled down and her tail naturally curled around his legs she loved when he called her that name it turned her to putty in his hands and oh the eyes she gave him he would gladly go to war with all of Pandora if it meant he could see her eyes or hear her voice he would do anything if it meant he could have her " hey it's not my fault you're slow keep up" she giggled oh eywa she had a pretty giggle it was like music to his ears " ok ok come we're almost at our spot" he told her they were out in the dark forest at night it was beautiful all of the different bioluminescent plants and some animals they were walking to a cave it wasn't exactly a cave more like a hollowed out hole in a tall tree but it had a great view and it was so cozy the two had promised that when they officially mated the place would be their forever home it wasn't that far away from the clan and the walk wasn't that long and they could have privacy so it was a win win as they approached the tree he took the basket from her hands " go I will be right behind you" he told her being a gentleman had gotten him a long way with her that and good looks " always such a gentleman"she said patting the place on his chest where his heart would be this was a usual action in their clan it was to show how thanks and reciprocate feelings to each other but mostly courting and mated pairs did it she jumped up the retractable claws all clansmen had digging into the tree she wrapped her tail around a nearby branch for safety and began climbing her tail switching between branches granting confirmed safety then he began climbing his tail had looped around the basket handles so he could carry it up as he reached the opening he pulled himself up inside she was already setting up the wide hammock fluffing up pillows and getting one of the blankets stashed to the side so he went to the little table he crafted net to it a trunk with wooden bowls and utensils inside he grabbed two bowls and started taking stuff out of the basket they brought as he was pulling stuff out he smelled something lemony and smoky " did you make fish is there rice why didn't you say something we could've gotten here faster"he said mouth basically watering he loved everything she made but his favorite was fish when she made it he would always finish everything he had to do early " I know but I wanted it to be a surprise we have a mission soon and I wanted you to enjoy yourself before we leave" she said he doesn't know what he really did to deserve such a sweet girl but he thanks eywa everyday for bringing them together " thanks Tutu I don't know what I would do without you" he said getting up and kissing her on the head and rubbing their noses together Naymir and ni'awtu meet at age 11 well ni'awtu was 11 Naymir was 12 he was a friend of wokan if it wasn't for the fact ni'awtu needed special training they wouldn't have met Naymir was like ni'awtu apart of the Dracarys clan his marking was a claw mark on his chest their relationship was no surprise to anyone he was her calm and she his storm " ma darling let's eat so we can get some rest for tomorrow I don't want anything to go wrong" ni'awtu said walking to the table " you don't even have to ask me twice" he said before he started to dig into the food on the table it was quite for the most part of dinner with small talk here and there especially since they hadn't seen each other in a while as eclipse started to rise they both got in the makeshift bed legs entangle tails intertwined together and his head on her chest the fell asleep unaware of the tragedy about to happen on their mission all the pain it will put her through

Hey guys I know it's a pretty short one this time but I wanted to give you a little bit about what happened I promise I'll try to make the second half of this a little longer anyway I hope you're enjoying the story and thanks so much for taking a interest in it
