A/n: HELLO EVERYONE!! Sorry for the delay! I hope you are all doing well! I'm here to bless you all with another little story, hope you enjoy it!

-Fluff-
-First person-

It was raining outside. Typical. The one day this summer me and Ringo decide to have a picnic it has to rain. I watched the raindrops race down the window, feeling full of disappointment. I sipped my tea and turned my head to see Ringo reading the paper. I all of a sudden felt really needy so I sit next to him.

"Reading anything interesting?" I asked snuggling into his chest. "Not really." He replied, putting his paper down and proceeding to play with my hair. The two of us cuddle for a bit. "Can't believe it has to rain today. Of all days." I complained. "Oh y/n. Don't you worry. We can do something here instead." Ringo kissed my forehead.

"In fact...I've got an idea" Ringo gently got up and walked to the other side of the living room. "What are you doing?" I asked curiously. "Wait a minute, you'll see" he said with a big grin on his face. Then it got really quiet until I heard music. A whiter shade of pale. He knew how much I loved this song.

"Fancy a dance?" Ringo pulled me up from the sofa and held me close. Him and I swayed ever so gently, his arms around my waist and mine around his neck. We both just listened to the gentle music. "Y/n, can you promise me something?" Ringo almost whispered. "Sure" I replied in the same tone. "Will you promise to never leave me?" He kissed me softly.

"Leave you? I would never. I love you so much Ritchie." I kissed him back. "I love you too." Then we both continued to sway as the song ended. "That was fun" I said. "It was, Y/n." Ringo replied. We were both just stood in the middle of the living room, just hugging.

"Shall we go out for dinner?" Ringo suggested, kissing my cheek before grabbing his car keys. "I'd love to! Where would we go?" I reply. "I know a little diner, a few streets away that's nice and cozy for us." Ringo helped me put on my jacket. Such a gentleman. "Sounds perfect." I grabbed my bag.

"Ready to go darling?" Ringo opened the door. "Ready!" I followed him outside. The rain had stopped and all that was in the sky was a gorgeous sunset. Then we both walked hand in hand to the car.

A/n: Hope you all liked it! Wasn't sure about the ending though haha, I can never write endings. My GCSE mock exams are very close now so my posts will be very irregular but I shall try my best to post as often as I can. So goodbye for now and take care.
