"She's not answering Willow." Amelia said distraughtly, "there's no use in calling again." Willow shook her head and snatched the phone from the purple haired girl who sat beside her, knees tucked into her chest, tears mixed with mascara running down her faintly freckled cheeks.

"She's gotta pick up eventually." Willow snapped, ringing the number again. Finally someone on the other side answered. Amelia's eyes widened and her head perked up.

"Hello?" Lilith said from the other side of the phone.

"Oh finally, Lilith, you answered," willow said with relief and handed the phone to amelia.

"Hi Lilith."

"Amelia is that you?" Lilith sounded delighted, "I haven't properly talked to you since I mentored you in high-"

"We don't have time for reminiscing." Willow stated, pulling Amelia's arm, along with the iphone towards her. "Is lucia still with you?"

"Err no, she just left a few minutes ago." She said, "why?"

"We need to know exactly where you are."

"What's the need? Did something else happen?"

"Well, yea kinda." Amelia mumbled.

"Well I'm currently at Edalyns home. I thought lucia was just visiting?" Lilith said, confused.

"No, she ran off. She hadn't made any contact with us for an entire week.." Amelia sucked in a breath through her lips. "Until she called earlier." She exhaled. They both heard Lilith sigh on the either side of the phone, which was followed up by a short moment of silence.

"I'll send you my location. You can wait here until Lucia returns." Lilith said before hanging up. Amelia and willow looked at each other, just waiting for liliths text with her location. It came shortly after what felt like a year to amelia and she quickly clicked on the notification. Eda's house was located near a large lake surrounded by trees.

"Staring at your phone isn't going to make her come back any faster." Willow sighed, nudging Amelia and reaching for the car door. Amelia only let out a sigh and followed her out the car and up the gravel path to Edalyns front door. Willow took the honours knocking while Amelia stood behind her, still staring at the previous texts between her and Lucia.

Shortly after willow tapped her knuckle against the door, Lilith opened it. She stood tall in the door way, looking down at the girls with a concerned expression. She then moved aside and allowed them to come inside where she then offered them a seat and some tea. Amelia shook her head but willow accepted the offer of herbal tea sweetened with honey.

"So.. how have things been with you and Hunter, Willow?" Lilith asked.

"Honestly, things have been great. I couldn't ever wish for another man." Willow blushed, tapping her fingers on the table.

"How about you and Lucia?" Lilith looked in Amelia's direction. The purple haired girl looked up from her trembling hands that were in her lap, nails digging into her thighs.

"Things are Uhm, wer— are— I don't know I haven't seen her in a week." Amelia pursed her lips, clearly holding back tears.

"I'm sorry sweetheart." Lilith shook her head and sipped her milky tea. "I had no idea she had ran off."

Amelia's shoulders became less tense at the pet name and she finally looked up at Lilith. She had never been called anything like that by an adult figure before. She opened her mouth to speak but willow ended up taking the words out her mouth.
