Todays the day, I wake up to the stormy day and my new confidence on the day is ruined I plop my head back down on my pillow and fall back asleep not much longer I wake up to my phone ringing, I ignore my phone and go back to sleep but that lasts like 15 minutes before I hear a knock at my door now a little upset I try to ignore it

???: Come on Y/n it's me!

Shit it's Towa I get up and open the door to the Pink/Purple Haired girl looking upset at me

Y/n: Good morning Towa.. what's up..?
Towa: Why didn't you answer your phone, you had me worried sick and why are you still in your nighttime attire you promised me you'd wake up with a spark in your step!
Y/n: Hop off my back Towa I'm just not feeling it today

She just lets herself in taking off her jacket and heading to my kitchen confused I follow her and watch her

Y/n: Towa what are you doing?
Towa: Making you breakfast dum dum
Y/n: Towa you don't have to
Towa: Ap bup bup bup your my best friend and I need to make sure my best friend is motivated for the day

She says this with sparkles in her eyes she must be passionate about the promise I made to her so I'll let her I suppose I help her in any way I can, Towa and I have been friends since we were in 7th grade

Bully 1: Come on you useless dolt if you don't do the project for us then I'll beat the shit out of you!
Bully 2: Yeah stupid!
Y/n: I'll get the project done okay just leave me alone please.

This was past me a big pushover in 7th grade well at least until the end of that school day. I was walking home worried how I'd write a report all by myself on the Theory of Everything worried about my report I don't see the girl walking and run right into her

???: Owww..
Y/n: Oh I'm so sorry miss I wasn't watching where I was going..

I help her pick up her books but I do get a good look at her she's that one girl who sits in the back of all my classes!

Y/n: Hey I know you your what's your name
???: Towa.. Towa Tokoyami..
Y/n: Your in the back always reading..?
Towa: Yeah, what's got you so stressed?
Y/n: I got paired with idk their names the 2 bullies for the Science project
Towa: Oh Daniel and Sean they're such jerks
Y/n: Yeah and they bullied me into doing the project by myself and they'd take most the credit for it
Towa: Well how about.. you and I do the project together

Towa: Breakfast is served
Y/n: Thanks Towa

I eat my breakfast and talk to Towa which I find enjoyable for some reason it doesn't last long before we hear a knock at our door, I get up to answer the door

Y/n: Hello?
???: Greetings my friend I would like to interest you in a mystical artifact
Y/n: Yeah no thanks sir I'm all go-
Towa: What kind?
Y/n: What no Towa we're not buying from this scam marketer
???: Sir I assure you this artifact is not a scam
Y/n: And I'm the CEO of McDonalds look dude no thanks now please get lost
Towa: Come on Y/n maybe it'll be good

Towa grips my F/c shirt and brings her face close to mine

Towa: I wanna see where this deal leads us no matter the cost
???: It's no charge
Y/n: No? Then we'll take it

He hands me a small seed which takes me and Towa by surprise, we look at each other with the same thought is this really what we were so fussed up about? We get rid of the guy and just stare at the seed

Towa: Do we just plant it?
Y/n: Will it even grow I mean where we live it's a shot in the dark

We head outside to plant the seed not really expecting anything to happen we head inside and just hang out for a few hours then we're cut short of our movie to a knock on the door

Y/n: I'll get it
Towa: I'll come with

We go to get the door to see an officer

Officer: Sir, you and your girlfriend nee-
Y/n: Sorry Officer she's not my girlfriend she's my close friend
Officer: Whatever but you and your girlfriend need to get the big plant out of your backyard

Looking at Towa seeing a small red tint on her face agitates me but I repeat what they said in my head

Y/n: Plant??

Me and Towa head to the backyard and look to see a big stem growing where the seed laid Holy fuck not caring about Towa or the cops next to me I start to climb the stem hearing Towa and the police telling me to get down. I ignore their commands and pleads and continue climbing, compelled that something lies above the clouds in the sky.

Why am I biting off way more than I can choose please end me
