Chapter - 2 An Old Friend

After a while you start to move on from your best friend's death though you were still a little upset about that incident you managed to make some  friends, however they could never replace Jason Voorhees and you knew that.
After what felt like minutes your shift ended, and you had about five months off of work and you decided to visit an old friend..

Time: 10:35 AM
Location: Memorial of Jason Voorhees
Located: Camp Crystal Lake

You got to your destination, your job wasn't far from Camp Crystal Lake and you had it that way for you to go to Jason's memorial to pay him a visit.

Y/N: *S/L* "Hey.. It's been a while I know it's because I've just been busy and this would be the only day I'd be free. I miss you Jason... I'm sorry for not being able to save you that day, but I got you a gift since it's your birthday and of course I'd remember that because you're my only best friend." You signed just as if you were talking to him.

You place the carefully wrapped gift down and leave it there than a little memory came to you.

Flashback

You were alone in Ma'am Voorhees' cabin and you got a bit bored so you sat down and started singing "something just like this". While waiting for Ma'am Voorhees and Jason to come back, they did, not long after you started singing.
They walk in to you singing beautifully and was just listening.

After you finished singing you turn around to see them right there with Ma'am Voorhees smirking and Jason giggling.

P. Y/N: " H-How long were you two there for?!" You said panicking.

P. Jason: *S/L* "The whole time? You're a really good singer Y/N."

P. Ma'am Voorhees: "Did you ever consider singing to everyone in the Camp? Y/N?" She asked and you just blushed.

P. Y/N: "W-well I n-never thought a-about it Ma'am Voorhees, are you suggesting I try?" You asked with a stutter.

End of Flashback

That memory was the happiest one that day. So you sang the same song you had sang when Jason Voorhees was still alive.

Jason Voorhees Perspective

I heard someone had came here, and to my memorial no less.. The only people who were there the day I "Drowned" was Y/N and Mother so it made me curious.
I went there to be greeted by a 'stranger' she was talking in.. Sign Language? Y/N knew sign language! Is- is that her?
So many questions pop into my mind and I heard a familiar song being sang by a familiar voice...
When she finished I approached her, tapped on her shoulder and asked

Jason: *S/L* "Y/N? Is that really you..?"

Y/N: "W-who's there?!"

Jason: *S/L* "Y/N, it's me your best friend... Jason Voorhees?" I sign hoping she'd notice..

Y/N: "J-Jason? Is that r-really you..?"

I nodded and her eyes filled up with joy to see me. Happy to see that I survived. She told me that she thought I died from that bullying incident. I told her that I didn't know what I am at this point, and that made her giggle, then she hugged me. I was surprised however I hugged her back, it was... nice to hug someone who you thought had forgotten about you..

Back to the Narrative

You were overjoyed that your childhood best friend had survived, but you were most certain that he had drowned, you asked how he survived the drowning incident, and he just signed that he didn't know what he was at this point. You giggled at his response and he was happy to you as well.
You hugged him which took him by surprise, though he hugged you back after seeing what you were doing.

It was nice to hugged someone you thought you had lost a long, long time ago.

Y/N: *S/L* "How did you survive?"

Jason: *S/L* "To be honest I don't know what I am, at this point. Though there were people that saw me and managed to save me. "

Y/N: *S/L* "Dont say that you don't know what you are. You are my best friend and that will never change.. May I meet them? They sound nice. Oh! And also I have to give you this. "

You picked up the gift on the ground and handed it to Jason. It was cute sure, because it was his old mask, teddy bear and all the pictures of the happiest moments of his life.
When he opened the gift you gave him he was silent for a moment but after a while of silence Jason just gave you a bear hug. He signed that you should follow him, he held your hand and guided you to the...
