I was on a date with gavi, currently in a restaurant.
he had broken up with his one million girlfriends
and i was finally the only one.

"Maria" He smiled at me softly

"What?" I smiled back

"nothing" He smiled

"Gavi your scaring me what is it" I said starting to overthink

"Nothing your just really pretty" He said as i sat there smiling like an idiot

Pablos pov

The past few weeks i had spent with Maria where perfect, she wasn't my girlfriend. Although i was pretty much ready to make her my wife.

When she's away from me i feel empty, and when she's around it's like my full day is amazing.

I think i'm going to have to ask her to be my girlfriend soon.

I looked up at her as she was sipping her coke in the restaurant.

I had called her pretty and her cheeks had turned a slight shade of red.

She's adorable, and i can't get enough.

The next day

I was in football training at 7am

I had heard ferran say my name.

"Pablo"

"Yeah?" I smiled

"what's going on between you and mini gonzalez." He said with a smirk

oh gosh

"Who? Maria? Nothings going on."
I lied

"Oh yeah?, well why did i see you and her on a date last night." He smiled
my eyes widened "Shut up, Pedri doesn't know" I said as i saw pepi walking towards us

He smirked

"Hey what you talking about" Pedri smiled

"Just what we where doing last night" Ferran smiled

breathe gavi breathe

"and..." pedri said waiting for an answer.

"I was on a date with sira at that new restaurant near the beach, you know the one pedro? You should go sometime, have you been pablo?" He said
i knew exactly what he was doing but it wasn't funny

"I have not, need to try it sometime"

"cool" Pedri said before changing the topic

Close call.

it was around 2pm now and i was still in training.

Until i saw a familiar brunette girl walk out of the tunnel and start talking to gavi.

I was standing near pedri as she made her way over

"Pepi, You forgot your key and i am busy today, i won't be home" She smiled handing him a key

"Thank you Maria" He smiled back to her

"Hey pablo" she smiled

I just stared

"Bro she said hello" Pedri said snapping me out my thoughts

"Hi" I smiled

It's weird knowing i've slept with my bestfriends cousin, practically sister.

and he didn't have a clue.

I mean if he found out, would he even be that mad?
I would treat her well, And i would be around more often

"Yo why do you keep zoning out, focus bro" Pedri said pushing me slightly with a smile

"He's too busy thinking about-" Ferran had started before Xavi interrupted, Saved by the bell? no. Saved by xavi, yes.

After Xavi had finished talking and everyone went back to training i decided to sneak away to see if Maria was still here

i looked around until i saw her talking to a man with dark hair

i couldn't see the man but i could see her smile and the hug she had given him.

My heart clenched at the sight and jealousy was burning in my bones

until i saw the man turn around and it was Fer, Maria's cousin, Pedri's older brother.

I smiled at the stupidness i just had and walked round the corner to see them

"Gavi?" I heard Maria say, god the way she says my name

"Maria, Fer" I smiled to them

"Why are you not training, you need to train you have a game this week? And you will be playing?" She said, making Fer give her a strange look i cannot quite read.

"Um, i'll go back now bye." I said before speed walking back to training

I can't help it but the way she told me what to do made my stomach turn. She has a weird effect on me i cant explain

i smiled to myself

Fernandos pov-

I was talking to maria and she said gavis name, i turned around slightly to see pablo looking at the both of us.

I've always loved gavi like a little brother.

i wasn't paying attention to what they where saying at first although i could see gavi looking at my younger cousin, and the look in his eye was amusing

"Why are you not training, you need to train you have a game this week? And you will be playing?" i heard maria say

That's when i instantly knew, they don't dislike eachother as much as they let on.

He ran off and i turned back to maria.

i bet pedri doesn't know a thing.
