She and I were sitting in the kitchen. She was smoking a cigarette while I was contemplating my life's existence. She caught me in a daze and asked "are you hungry?" I looked at her, I was half dead from the tiredness that resulted after we had our night together. She grabbed my hand and held it tight. "What do you have to do today?" She asked. I replied shoving a piece of turkey bacon in my mouth and saying "just spending time with my favorite girl" whilst smiling. She grabbed my hand with a smile and asked "are you having fun?" I replied with a kiss and said "yes". Hilda waited for us to look up and then asked "are you familiar with the church of night?" Shoving another piece of bacon in my mouth and sighing I said "oh yes I remember them but not fondly" I said remembering my days as an outcast living in a witch's cell until prudence set me free a year ago. "Well you see....." she continued "they present kind of a problem for us". She said it worried.   " what kind of problem?" I asked through a sip of coffee and another chomp of bacon. "Finish your breakfast" she said going back to the frying pan. I knew what this meant. There was going to be hell to pay and father blackwood wanted some answers. See up until the last year and a half I had been the adopted pet of Foutus Blackwood. The evil misogynist that he was kept in the dungeon and played with me as it pleased him, only allowing me to resume human form when it suited his desire.  "Well nevertheless we'll protect her won't we?" She said rubbing my hand lovingly. "What foustus does'nt know won't kill him" she said reassuringly. Though I still was'nt completely convinced that is until Sabrina piped up on my behalf "oh course we will she's a Spellman now". Hearing her say those words made me feel special, like somehow finally I had a home and a family to call my own. "Do you want to marry me?" She asked trying to hold in her excitement. "Yes of course" the words had been sticking to my throat since sabrina's comment was made. "Yes, yes I do" I said with a big smile. "Very well" said Zelda "we'll have to get started on the wedding plans".

I knew with Zelda by my side Father blackwood would never get his hands on me again. I knew with Zelda by my side I could face whatever was coming my way.
