Chapter Three: Planning

3rd person's POV: after Willow fell asleep Wally got to work on planning Willows new room with what little details he has he went to Howdy's to get what he needs which was a lot of paint apples fluffy pillows and blankets a bed frame and mattress bed sheets new clothes for her as well

"She likes our show so maybe a bedspread that has the logo?" Wally thought to himself he nodded he wishes he could tell the others but they wouldn't understand at all only Wally understood everything he sighed softly as he entered Howdy's

"Hey Wally! are you okay?" Howdy asked Wally snapped out of his thoughts giving Howdy a smile

"Yeah I'm okay I just need what's on the list please" Wally said handing the list to Howdy who smiled softly

"You really are adopting a kid huh?" Howdy asked as Wally nodded smiling softly

Wally's POV: As I explained to Howdy what else I needed he understood more and even seemed sad when I told him about how me and Jane found Willow well more or less how she found us Howdy looked really upset

"That poor girl has been through too much" Howdy said softly giving me a bag with everything I needed I thanked him and went to Home he told me before I left that he made Willow's room and I have the paint and the paintbrushes as well once I got back to Home he opened the door for me I thanked him and told him my plan

"Sounds good Wally!" Home said opening a new door to a white empty room I smiled setting down the paint cans and got the paint brushes out a wall is like a canvas only bigger and I have a great idea since the room is so big one part can be used for sleeping and the other a playroom once she gets here she will love it I'm sure!

"She will love being my daughter I will make sure she feels loved" I thought to myself as I got to painting some time passed and I barely got a bit done I sighed softly seeing I would be needing help

"Maybe Jane would like to help me and if she can't maybe Barnaby can?" I thought as the doorbell rang I went to the door and saw everyone Jane Barnaby Sally Julie Frank Poppy Eddie Howdy and Jane's sister Marie I asked what they were doing

"Well we wanna help prepare Willows room!" Jane said I looked to Howdy who looked nervous

"You know Jane can be a bit intimidating when she needs to be Wally" Howdy said I sighed and let them in showing them where Willows room was and how much I got done Jane smiled and grabbed a paint brush

"Okay we'll split up into sections that way we can get more done in less time that way we can get this done quicker and focus more on decoration and figuring out where everything would be going" Jane said I smiled she was the apple of my eye truly she was as we got into sections we got to work and since Howdy had more arms than us he got a bigger section than us but he didn't mind in fact he seemed happy Poppy had a hard time and needed help since she hasn't used a paintbrush much so Marie helped her

"What a good friend" I thought continuing to paint my section Jane next to me painting hers I felt happy to have amazing friends like everyone it took only an hour I smiled as I saw the room was done all left to do is to get the bed frame made and other bed stuff done

"That was great everyone!" Jane said happily I nodded and told everyone that we needed to get the bed ready Howdy stepped up

"I can help with that you just run the bedsheets and blankets through the wash and me and Barnaby will get the mattress out and ready as well" Howdy said I thanked him and asked Jane if she would like to join me she smiled and nodded as I showed her where the laundry room was I had the bags that had the bed sheets blankets and Pillow cases as well after I put them in the washer I saw Jane looking aloof I asked her if something was bothering her

"Yes you can say that" Jane said softly I felt my chest tighten seeing her being distressed I hated it she deserves to be happy no matter what I asked her what was bothering her

"I'm worried about Willow" Jane said softly I hugged her close to me telling her Willow will be okay she hugged me back I could feel tears dripping onto my shirt I carefully rubbed circles on Janes back calming her down again I can only hope Willow will like this

"Wait Willow will need a mother figure as well...." I thought as I blushed looking at Jane who seemed confused and I asked her if she wanted to be Willow's mother I could see the blush on Jane's face

"I-I wouldn't mind being Willow's mom" Jane said I smiled wide and took a deep breath and held Janes hand thanking her she blushed more now that I think about it Frank did say he and Eddie adopted a child of their own I'm happy for them they're perfect for eachother I'm glad they found love who knows maybe Maire might finally confess her feelings to Sally soon or maybe they might adopt a child but who knows for now my main priority is to keep Jane and Willow safe from any and all harm and from any boys too who want her heart nobody will harm her again

"Let's get back to the task at hand" Jane said I nodded and offered an apple to her she smiled and ate it that's when I noticed something her canine teeth were unusually sharp maybe I'm going crazy from the stress I gently took Jane's hand into mine looking deep into her eyes telling her I would love nothing more than for her to help me raise Willow I swear her face just brightened up when she heard me

"Y-You mean it?" Jane asked softly I nodded to her giving her hands a gentle squeeze telling her she would be an amazing mother to Willow I could faintly see her fair skin get slightly pink near the cheek area it reminded me of how I fell hard for her she was so sweet and gentle and not only that she seems very motherly like how Poppy is almost, it's impossible not to fall for someone as sweet as Jane is
