Taylor's POV:
I opened my eyes slowly as I woke up. A crick in my neck and a pain in my side told me I wasn't in bed. I came to my senses and realised I had my arms wrapped around someone. Who the hell was it? I slowly got up and let out a gasp. It was Karlie. Suddenly last night came flooding back and I remembered why I was there. I checked my watch and saw it was 6.45. With some hope the care taker would be arriving soon. I stood up and in the cramped space I tried my best to smooth down my top and look presentable. I pulled my fingers through my hair and put on my glasses. I was just thumbing through my folder when I heard a cough. I turned around sharply knocking over about 10 boxes on the way. I blushed as a disgruntled Karlie stood up, pulling a boy's shirt off her head. She smirked at me and yawned lifting her arms up so her top rode up and I could see her abs. I let out a small gasp. Her body was goals. She looked at me smirking. I glared at her and rubbed my head pretending I'd hit it. "Listen, I think we'll be able to get out soon but I need to ask you a favour" She nodded to indicate she was listening "You can't tell anyone what happened last night, okay?" She rolled her eyes. "Jheeze, you're acting like we had sex together or something." I blushed bright red. "Don't talk to your teacher like that. That is highly inappropriate!" She shrugged. "Yeah yeah, listen I won't tell anyone. Calm down" I nodded and turned around, sitting on the mats waiting for someone to rescue us.
Finally 20 minutes later I heard the care taker walking past the gym. "HELP!" I screamed banging on the walls. His whistling stopped and he yelled out a reply. "Ello? Who's there?" "In here" I yelled and finally the doors swung open. I rushed out, practically dancing with joy. Well, prancing really. I turned around and saw Karlie walking out lazily. "Come on" I yelled and we walked out of there, finally free.
Karlie's POV:
I had English next. When we left I had never seen anyone so happy. I was a little hurt. I felt like we had bonded but the second we left she said goodbye and left. The bell rang and I got up gathering my books. I walked to English and waited outside with the rest of the class nibbling my lip anxiously. I would be lying if I said I didn't have a crush on her. I did. She was gorgeous, kind and even though we had gotten off to a bad start maybe I could improve. I knew she would never like me back. I doubting she even went that way. I could picture her with a husband. How old was she? Mid-twenties was my guess. Suddenly her voice rang out and I jumped. We filed inside and I sat down in my usual spot at the back. We all got out our pens and books until she told us too put them away. "Sorry class but I don't have a lesson planned due to certain circumstances," I fought down an urge to laugh. "So today I thought we could have a little getting to know each other session. I realised we don't really know each other and I'd like to bond" The class cheered at the no lesson part. Soon the questions began and I observed carefully.
"Miss, why did you come to our school?"
"Because it was hiring English teachers and I thought it was a nice school."
"Miss, are you married?"
"Haha, no, I'm too young really."
That puzzled me a little. She didn't look that young. I put up my hand. She glanced over at me and picked me. "Miss, how old are you?" She froze for a second before replying calmly, "24" I frowned. Did she forget her age or something? I zoned out until I heard someone ask if she had a boyfriend. She blushed and replied "That's none of your business."
"But miss, you said we should get to know each other better."
She sighed before replied. "Fine, no I don't have a boyfriend." My hand shot up at that. "Then miss, have you ever had a boyfriend?" She blushed again and said "I have been in a relationship" "But you're single now?" a boy at the back asked. "Yes, why?" she asked. "Will ya go on a date with me then?" She blushed and spoke calmly. "Don't ever ask a teacher that, do you know how inappropriate that is?!" She paused for a while and then spoke with a smirk, "I don't even swing that way" All the boys' jaws dropped and then they wolf whistled. "Anyway, now it's my turn to ask you questions..."
I didn't listen for the rest of the lesson. All I could think about was what she said. So she was gay. That was great news, well I had a 100% chance of her never liking me back but now it was around a 99% chance. Ha, great odds. Urgh, this is so wrong that I'm thinking this. She's a fucking teacher. Maybe I could find out more about her. I knew she was called Taylor Swift so maybe I could find her online. Not in a creepy stalker way but I was just interested. My thoughts took me to the end of the lesson and before I knew it we were packing up. I was just leaving when she called me back.
"Karlie, come here for a minute" Sighing I went back and stood in front of her. "Yes?" "I just wanted to remind you that you still have lunch duty with me." I groaned. "Seriously?" She smiled, "yup" Sighing I turned away before she called me back again. "Also can I ask why you asked me if I'd ever had a boyfriend?" I smiled. "I kinda figured out you were gay I just wanted to know for sure. She blushed a very light shade of pink. "How did you know that?" I smirked as I walked out of the room. I turned around and spoke before I left. "It takes one to know one" and with that I left. I smiled to myself. So now she knew I was also gay. My plan was already falling into place.
