All plans are set. Security is waiting. We have alerted everyone as we want to flush out the mole as well. I drive to the venue to find everything done. I locate Alexis I find her directing the placement of waiters. I stand next to her.
“Hi.”
“Hi. You can go relax a bit guys and prepare for tonight.” She turns to me
“How is everything?”
“Its good so far. All ready for April and her crew?”
“Yep. She wont know what hit her.”
“Good.”
I help where I can and we eventually leave I go home to change and she goes to her house.
“Are you ready for today?” I ask Nathaniel as he comes to my house to fetch me
“As ever.”
“Ok let us go then.” He tucks in an envelope in his suit jacket. I am guessing those are divorce papers. We leave and go to the main house to fetch the others. Mom and the girls are staying behind for their safety. Security is super tight. April was told that they are going to spend the night at a hotel. However they will be here at home with extra security.
We leave for the venue and we get there and enjoy while keeping a look out. Commotion breaks out as John, leader of the lions arrives. Everyone who is not to take part in this conversation is escorted out to the garden to continue the party.
“John, John, John. What are you doing here?” Asks Alexis
“I am here to party.”
“Who invited you because I didn’t.”
“A mutual friend.”
“Right, right.”
Everyone has guns pointed at each other.
“How about we sit down as we have some issues to discuss before we kill each other.” I say and everyone seems to agree. We sit with them on one side and us on one side.
“Now should we invite our mutual friend?” Asks Alexis
“Sure.” Says John
“Call them then.” Nathaniel says
He calls and April’s phone rings
“What is happening?” Asks Grace
“John care to explain.” I say
“Sure. I met April here at a party ten years back. She didn’t know who I was and I realised that she didn’t know who you were as well. So I got close to her and she was the perfect spy without her knowing.” He states smugly
“I feel I should ask how did you get the tracker in Nathaniel’s phone?” Asks Callum
“April complained that he was spending too much time with his brothers girlfriend and it was suspicious to her. I asked her if she knows the girlfriend and are they close. She said no they are not close. I asked for a picture so I know who I am looking for. She showed me a group picture and she pointed at her.” He says looking at Alexandra. “I tried digging up on her and the only thing found was that she is Storm. No other information. So I told April to insert a tracker on the husband’s phone and I instructed her on how to do it.”
“How long ago was this tracker inserted?” Asks Jonathan
“Its been a year now.”
Silence
“Right we finally get to the crust of the matter. Why did you shoot Alexander?” Asks Sebastian
“The bullet was actually aimed at Nathaniel as well.”
“Why?”
“He took my woman from me.”
“Ah of course but it doesn’t really tell us why attack at a party when you had time to attack Nathaniel alone?” Asks Jonathan
“Well I learned that you were all about to struck it rich with that Italy deal.”
“How did you know about Italy?” Asks Jason
“April told me that Alexander is going on vacation with his lady friend and two plus two is four. I sent one of my men and they were seen entering the Russo estate. Then they were seen with the Russo’s out and about. So I did some research and found that Storm here is closely related to the Russo's and they offered the Graham’s a working deal that will help them set foot in Italy.”
“I feel I should ask before we kill each other. What do you have to gain out of this?” Asks Alexis
“Well for starters I get back my family and get the business. I will finally be respected for having taken down the Grahams.”
“Right. So do you know who I am?” She asks
“Yes, you are storm.”
“Well actually I am Alexandra Thompson.”
“No.”
“Daughter of Victor ‘Viper’ Thompson.” She says slowly
“No!” He stands up and points a gun at her. She stands as well
“You see, you made a huge mistake. John.” She says stepping forward. We all stand with my brothers. “You see John, you should have just taken your sorry excuse of a girlfriend and gone away. Told her to ask for a divorce instead of trying to kill people.” She steps even closer. “You see John you don’t touch what matters to me and think that you will get away with it. Now…” his men start falling down as they are shot. While he is distracted, Alexis takes his gun. “Now John me and you are going to play a game. I know you will enjoy it. You can take him away boys. Make sure that he is well taken care of.” He gets dragged away while kicking and screaming. She turns to us
“Oh April, please sign.” Nathaniel states taking out the envelope I saw him put in his jacket.
“What is this?”
“Divorce papers.”
“What?!”
“I mean let us not waste each other’s time. You will sign and the guards here are going to escort you back to the house. You will pack your clothes along with your kids and leave the property.”
“Nathaniel…” He takes out a gun and points it to her
“I do not want to hear it. Sign…now.” She takes the papers and signs while crying so hard. “Boys escort her to the house and make sure she takes only her clothes and those of the kids. Take them and place them at a hotel. Guard the hotel and make sure she doesn’t leave. Until I communicate further.”
“Nathaniel, I am sorry.” She says kneeling down and crying
“Take her.” The guards do as told. Shock and fear is written in the eyes of the wives. He turns to face everyone. “Let this be a lesson to all of you wives. Cross us, we will know and we will take care of you.” He walks out and I follow him.
We drive to the interrogation venue. The wives go home
