Chapter 3- The change

 after two weeks of being home with sam and Colby y/n introduced Jake again and invites him over to the house.

y/n texts Jake

Messages-

y- hey Jake, do you wanna come over and say hi to everyone as my boyfriend?

j- of course babe, what if they don't like me though?

y- they've met you before bebe. Colby might just be jealous.

j- okay if you say so. ill be there in 20. love you

y- great! love you too

20 minutes later-

y/n- hey everyone Jake came over to hang out for a little and to be introduced again as my boyfriend.

Colby- oh, is he here?

stas- Colby why do you sound upset?

Colby- its nothing.

y/n- yes he's here!

Jake and the rest of them meet up and become closer then before.

y/n- so do you guys like him again?

everyone but Colby- yea we should do this more offen

Colby walks away.

Jake- nice to see you too Colby

Colby gives Jake a death stare

Jake leaves and everyone goes to sams room to do Kats 24 hour stream again.

y/n- hey Colby can you hang back for a minute?

stas- he's busy. he has to come with me and them.

Colby- I have some time

stas- whatever 

y/n- Colby we need to talk. what was that today with Jake? you guys used to be best friends.

Colby- y/n you know I like you.

y/n- colby we are with other people, you need to let it go.

Colby- but I can't. y/n I truly love you, more then a friend.

y/n- oh Colby. I can't do this right now. We can't be together.

Colby- but I still love you.

y/n- lets just go to the stream and talk after.

they both leave to go to sams room for the stream.

after 3 hours on stream with drinking and talking

y/n- alright im going to bed. its almost 4am and I have stuff to do in the morning. 

everyone says goodnight and continues the stream.

Colby leaves shortly after and stas try to follow him. 

stas- Colby im coming with you

Colby- no you stay here.

stas stays and gets on her phone to look at Colbys snap chats and to see what he's been up to.

Colby goes to y/ns room to talk.

Colby- *knocks* y/n we need to talk.

y/n- okay hold on. I have to go, bye babe.

Colby- was that Jake?

y/n- yeah, hes kinda mad at you but we are also fighting.

Colby- yeah me and stas broke up and she's really mad at me.

y/n- well did you tell her why?

Colby- yeah. I said that I have more feelings for another person.

y/n- Colby, you can tell she loves you.

Colby- I know but I can't keep a relationship with someone that I don't have a lot of feeling for. I would rather hurt her now than hurt and lie to her more everyday. 

y/n- I have to go talk to her.

Colby- but we need to talk.

y/n- later

Colby- you've said that for 2 days now.

y/n- I promise later.

Colby goes back to the stream while y/n texts stas to come to the living room to talk. a/n- hey guys we are going to do nicknames now. c-colby st-stas s-sam k-kat  j-jake y- y/n and their will be more.

y- stas can we talk in the living room?

st- why should we?

y- I didn't do anything, just come talk.

stas comes to the living room to talk

y- thank you

st- what do you need to talk to me about?

y- Colby

st- why? what about him?

y- Colby said that he loves me and we are such close friends. I dont want you to be mad at me. stas you are a beautiful person and you will meet the right guy. Colby just isn't it. I love you stas, I can't lose you.

st- you won't y/n. I love you too and I just want both of us to be happy. I wasn't;t happy with Colby because he never showed unstressed after you guys talked. and I always knew he liked you more. You are an amazing person I mean who wouldn't?

y- thank you, I know you will find the right person I know it. are we okay now?

st- yes. and you have my approval to date colby if you get a chance.

y- well thank you. I love you stas.

they both hug and y/n gets back to colby while stas is deleting Colbys Password to all of his accounts to be loyal.

c- are you guys okay?

y- yeah, we are better then ever no thanks to you. 

c- im sorry y/n

y- I know you are colby. now we need to talk.

c- yeah we do.
