I felt as hot tears fell from my eyes.
I could feel the warmth on my face, though i didn't bother wiping them away.
I was too busy focusing on the fire.
Why? How did it come to this?
I wanted to scream, call out for help. But no sound came from my mouth.
I fell to my knees, eyes still glued onto the fire.
I could've done something.
I could've helped them.
Why? Why did they push me to safety?
