it was just another day in Inkwell Isle.
rumor honeybottoms is pestering Cagney of course
The newspaper guy was making his daily rounds throughout the neighborhood Jupiter was also pestering Mortimer overall just a relaxing day
you were making your daily route to the bakery on isle 4 even though I was your day off
You've worked there for about two or three years and Started to take a liking to Saltbaker (i'll refer to him as salty throughout the story)
A little while later you reach the bakery
Y/n " Hey Salty"
Saltbaker: " Oh wasn't it you're day off Y/n it's Easter after all "
Y/n: " well yeah but I decided to hang out I have nothing else to do today anyway besides rumor is pestering Cagney again I need something to distract her" "I know she likes sweets though"
Saltbaker: " Ah well it's spring time so I actually made a spring themed cake "
Y/n: " Ah can I deliver it to rumor so she'll stop pestering Cagney" " please "
Saltbaker: " Uh ok it's my break soon so we can hang out once you get back"
Time skip brought to you by you delivering the cake to rumor honeybottoms
Y/n: " all righty I'm back hopefully that'll keep her busy for a while Rumor she well ... she's a bit crazy"
Saltbaker: * snoring softly*
Y/n :" are you asleep Salty"
Saltbaker:* sleepily mumbling* " wha Y/n you're back already"
Y/n: " yeah turns out rumor was on isle two I had O'Fera drop me off"
Saltbaker: " well if you don't mind me asking can we cuddle "
Y/n: " Uh sure we can "
Saltbaker :* muffled thanks*
Saltbaker: " Uh Y/n i've been meaning to ask you this for a while"
Y/n " What is it salty"
Saltbaker: " w-will you be my Lover "
Y/n" of course come here you big doofus" ( if I call someone a doofus that means I'm calling them cute I don't know why)
Saltbaker: * yawns * " now let's get to cuddling dear"
Y/n :"I never know you would be this romantic salty"
Saltbaker: " hehe I have my tricks"
Y/n:" Aww come here"
Saltbaker:" ok *Yawns* let's sleep"
Saltbaker:" Good night love"
Y/n:" Night salty"
