Cane
I look over at the clock and it read 3:45 am the same time I been reading for the last past two weeks. Nala been working late lately and seem to be walking at the same exact time every night. I turned over pretending to be sleep as I heard her come in doing the same routine she always does get her clothes and head right for shower. After her shower she came in laid in the bed.
"Babe you up?" I heard her ask. I didn't say anything I just laid there. I heard her smack her lips and pick up her phone that was ringing. "Hello?" She answered. "You know I'm at home why is you calling me?" I'll call you on my way to the office Jac!" She semi yelled before hanging up.
I stirred like I was waking up just to get her attention she turned to me looking like a deer caught in headlights. "Sorry did I wake you she asked?" I didn't say anything I got up packed a bag and left!
