CHAPTER 23 : Fair win by the barracudas ( Ritha is the champion at last)

"And so a rematch it is , the contestants are stepping into the water , and now there's no cheating , because everything will be put to a focus on the screen" , Davis the mc said . " ritha , why did you do this" , " actually , I wanted to win but it wouldn't be fair" , " but then why are you being so nice to me I almost made you drown" , " yes I know but I didn't" , " and do you expect me to be soft on you this time" , " no be you and surf like yourself expect no cheating this time , that's the whistle" , she said and started paddling .

" And ritha comes again with a flip , that's the first point for ritha , oh but Jill makes a point too" , the mc said .

All the audience were eager to see who will finally be the champion , both ritha and Jill had impressive moves that made it hard for the judges to decide the winner , it ended up being a tie .

"Ritha are you sure you're going to make this" , " mom I've got this , trust me" , "you see Angie , this is what I talked about she is extra ordinary my girl is a champion" , " you mean our girl" , " yeah that's what I mean" her dad said with a smouldered look .

" she's crazy" , " Bethany I'm surely getting you off team captain from now on you are a terrible captain" , " whatever" , graham said as Jill went back to the sea .

"This is round two , it's the first time in this competition we got a tie , and it's still the same , but ritha come in with and goes for the top of the wave , and makes a two point difference , I think Jill won't make it in time" , the judges were now freaking out , and had no decision , Jill made a powerful come back and made a tie again , the judges added some more minutes expecting a change .

" now let's see from Jill , he makes it to the top of the wave and turns , he makes a successful landing , will ritha be able to beat this ? let's see for ourselves" , right about time , ritha went for the ultimate sprint but it was so dangerous yet the only move to bring her victory .

" she's not going to make it" , " wait for it guys she knows what she's doing , I guess once told me of this" .

The blue yachts were ready to rejoice for their wonderful win , but ritha wouldn't go smooth on them , she increased her speed and approached the end of the wave , " Now let's see if this is successful" said the mc , ritha made it to the top and she went for the sprint , she made it and it wasn't over yet , ritha went for another flip, and she made it , it was a miracle indeed and the time wasn't Jill's friend, this left one true champion . The last three seconds countdown , three , two , one , and it was done "we have one and only champion , will this be enough for the barracudas to surpass the blue yachts and put the barracudas on first place it's almost impossible but we'll see after the judges' decision you're still with me mc Davis" , it was an enormous performance ritha made for the barracudas " this could be a bad moment for the defending champions if they get the second place" the mc said .

Ritha came running and hugged her parents first , she was wet but didn't care , " ritha , you've finally made it my girl" , " yes dad I won , I just can't believe it", she shouted , the audience were all cheering amazed by ritha's moves , " mom , this is amazing I just ... it's insane" she said as the other barracudas came , she started running as she saw bill coming towards her .

Bill stopped her , " wait you're going to tell me who taught you those cool moves" , " come on bill , of course I'll do" , she said as she pulled him closer and hugged him .

" Ritha you've really brought joy to the whole team , and the school" , " thanks coach" , " and ritha I should resign being coach for a while" , " are you serious" " you seem to be a better coach you'll take care of it" , " really coach" , " yes , what's the problem in that , never mind I'm not serious" , " you're the true queen of pranks coach , bring it in team" , ritha said as they lifted her up.
