You were my brightest light, the glow of my life
Every saturday we used to hang out
You knew I had a thing for poems
So you'd recite em' all for me
Every morning
Before homeroom
You slammed me against a locker
My heart speeding up
Later at lunch
We used to bicker all day
We were two peas in a pod
We...it was us against the world
Then suddenly
Without notice
You only told me
I'm going away
You left me there
Alone to stay
