Lanesha's POV
So I woke up this morning actually happy. I walked in the bathroom and took a shower, put my clothes on, and curled my hair. When I was done I walked to school. I came early so I was just sitting on a bench outside on my phone when someone sat beside me.
??: Sup
Lanesha: *turning towards them* Oh hey Ben
Ben: So what you doing
Lanesha: Nun just scrolling through Instagram
Ben: Oo let me take a picture
Lanesha: Okay *handing it to him*
He took a picture and captioned it New Best Friend😍❤️. In the court I saw Malak looking at me and Ben then smile. I slightly smiled back. The bell rang and I walked to my locker. I was looking through my locker is when someone came up behind me.
Tayvion: Hey nerdy!!
Lanesha: Hey Tayvion *turning around*
Tayvion: So do you wanna hang after school?!
Lanesha: I want to but I have to tutor!!
Tayvion: Oh how bout tomorrow?!
Lanesha: Uhh sure
Tayvion: Alright Bye and btw you look nice today.
Lanesha: Thx and bye *blushing*

•First Period-Malak POV•
I noticed that Lanesha moved from where she usually sit. She probably still mad about what happened. I like her a lot and I want her but I also want River even though River makes me sick sometimes. Since River isn't here today, I'm going to sit sit by Lanesha. So I walked in the class to see her and Ben talking. I walked up and sat in the desk in front of her.

•Lanesha Pov•
So Ben and I was talking until Malak came and sat in front of me.
Malak: Sup Ben!
Ben: Sup Malak! Where's River?!
Malak: She's not coming to school today *sounding happy* Hey Lanesha *smirking*
Lanesha: Hi
I was minding my own business when Malak started talking to me.
Malak: Lanesha?!
Lanesha: What?!
Malak: Can I have your number?!
Lanesha: Uhh no
Malak: Are you still mad at me?!
Lanesha: *sighing* I don't care anymore. If you're happy with River, I just have to respect that.
Malak: I'm not?! *mumbling*
Lanesha: huh?! *confused*
Malak: Nevermind! But thanks for not being mad *slightly smiling*
Lanesha: Yeah
5 minutes laters River walks and me and Ben look at Malak and he's beating his head on the desk.
Ben: Awe look!! Your Bae is here *teasing*
Malak: Nigga stfu
River sat in front of Ben next to Malak.
River: why are you sitting back here?!
Malak: You wasn't here so I wanted to sit next to Ben.
River: Then why are you sitting in front of her?!
Malak: *sighing* Please don't start!!
River: How am I starting?!
And there's she goes with the yapping. I see why he isn't happy with her. She eventually start irritated me. Like she was yapping for about 5 minutes.
??: Bruh shut the fuck up!! Damn!!
Bout time somebody told her to shut up and to my surprise she did it. I laughed to myself but I guess she heard cuz she turned and looked at me. I could see Ben holding his laugh in too. The bell rang and me and Ben bursted out laughing.

•Hallway•
I was in the walking in looking when a brown skin fell into me.
??: Oh sorry ma *helping her up*
Lanesha: It's okay
??: What's your name?? I'm Noah!!
Lanesha: Lanesha
Noah: Oh you that girl that River hates.
Lanesha: *sighing* yeah I guess.
Noah: You seem cool though
Lanesha: thanks but I think I should be heading to class.
Noah: Bye
Lanesha: Bye Noah *walking off*

•Lunch•
I sat with the same people that I sat last time. They were talking about something but I was just looking around the cafeteria. I seen Malak with his head down and River yapping in his ear. I looked over at Tayvion and he was looking at me too. He smiled and waved and I smiled and waved back. I looked over at Malak and our eyes met. His frown turns into a smile and this time I actually smiled back at him this time. Then Me and River met eyes. I dropped my smile and just went back to listening to the convo.

•After School•
I walked to to the classroom and waited on my phone until the person I had to tutor came in.
??: Lanesha??
Lanesha: Malak??
Malak: You're the tutor??
Lanesha: I'm tutoring you?! *shocked*
Malak: Yeah *smirking*
Lanesha: *sighing* Sit down
So I he was working out some algebra problems while I was just watching. He was working them out well so idk why he needs tutoring.
Lanesha: Uh Malak?!
Malak: Yeah *still working*
Lanesha: You're working these problems like they're nothing.
Malak: Cuz they aren't!!
Lanesha: Then why are you here??
Malak: I don't work like this in the class!!
Lanesha: Why
Malak: You wouldn't understand!! *still working*
I was thinking thinking about it then I stopped him.
Lanesha: You can tell me anything!
Malak: *sighing* Fine
He put his pencil down and sat back.
Malak: I'm confused
Lanesha: About?!
Malak: What I want *running his hand through his hair*
Lanesha: What you mean?!
Malak: I don't know if I want River or you.
Lanesha: *stays quiet*
Malak: See I love River but I'm not happy with her. She complain all the time and is kinda annoying but you *putting his hand on her thigh* You just don't how much I want you *whispering in her ear and starting to rub her thigh*
Lanesha: No I can't *moving his hand* See I like you too but I didn't think that you liked me back cuz you kissed River after you kissed me. But the thing about it is, I don't want to break you too up so I just let it go.
Malak: Trust me you're not going to be the reason we break up. Did you hear when I said that I'm not happy with her.
Lanesha: Then why are you still with her??
Malak: *biting his lip and thinking* I don't know
Lanesha: You're right!!
Malak: About??
Lanesha: That you were confused. Maybe you'll just figure it out cuz I want to help you but I can't.
Malak: *sighing* Thanks anyway.
Lanesha: You're Welcome *getting up*
Malak: Can I use your phone to call my mom?!
Lanesha: Sure *handing it to him*
He dialed a number then his phone started ringing in his pocket.
Lanesha: Omg
Malak: Yeah I just called myself so I can get your number.
Lanesha: I hate you *walking off*
Malak: *grabbing her and pulling her back* you know you love me *whispering in her ear making her freeze*
Lanesha: Bye Malak
