Crush of Jaime Lannister

You were y/n Clegane, wife of Gregor Clegane. You lived with him the Kings landing although you rarely saw your husband. Only when he wanted you for breeding. However, you didn't get pregnant. You had been drinking moon tea without him realising, a way to stop yourself getting pregnant.

It's not that you didn't want children. You did, more than anything. But the though of having Gregors children filled you with dread. He would not be a good father. Everyone knew that. He had told you on multiple occasions that you are to give him 3 sons and then you can begin to birth girls. Otherwise he will simply disown the girls. He says this like it is your choice.

The only thing keeping you from jumping from the top of the red keep was jaime lannister. He was sweet and kind to you. Whilst he physically could not protect you against Gregor. He still tried on many occasions. He may not be able to fight your husband, but jaime had power. And he used that to order around your husband. Making him do jobs that were miles away just to give you a break

You were sat sewing with the lady margery, you friend from childhood. She also hated your husband and would whisk you away to distract you from the harsh reality. Then, cersei walked in

"Lady y/n. May I have a word? Alone" she said glaring at margery

"I'll leave you both" margery says politely, leaving you alone with cersei

"Is everything alright your majesty?" You ask her

"There are rumours in court. Saying you were caught with my brother in his chambers, naked. I want to know the truth" cersei says getting straight to the point

"I don't know who started these rumours. But I swear to you, I have not lost my dignity infront of your brother. Whilst he is kind to me and yes, I sometimes visit his chambers, we only talk and drink away our sorrows" it was true. You had never kissed jaime. Although you imagined it many a time

"I started the rumours. Or, atleast I will start the rumours if you continue this behaviour with my brother. You are a married woman and jaime is a man of the Kings guard, I won't have the pair of you ruining our two houses. I can only imagine what the mountain may do if he were to hear this" she threatens

"Ha. Don't be ridiculous. You can't spread these rumours. Because if you do, your brothers skull would be crushed by my husbands bare hands. And we both know im right. I'm sure even you aren't cruel enough to deprive your children of their father. Yes, that's right. I too can spread rumours. So I'd be very careful if I were you, your majesty. And as for jaime, he is a friend and a good one at that. I'll stop speaking with him when the oceans dry up and the sky drops on our heads" you get up and walk away, leaving her speechless

Yet you were still worried. What if she did spread rumours? As disgusting as her relationship with jaime was, you just had to pray that she loved him more than she hated you. It was the only hope you had.

You were walking through the halls when you saw your husband

"Pregnant yet?" He asked you in a gruff voice as the two of you walked to your shared chambers

"Not that I'm aware of my love"

"Was I given an infertile wife?" He yells once you get to your chambers, smashing up the table

"N..no sir. Darling, I can have children. I'm sure of it"

"You better hope so. Otherwise, what's the point in you even being alive? Women are only important for children. If you can't do that then you are just a waste of oxygen" his hands were wrapped around your throat as your tried to pry him off. He released as you collapsed to the floor, choking. He just scoffed, walking away and leaving you sobbing on your bedroom floor

The next day, you woke up in your chambers very early in the morning. It was still dark out but you heard a noise. Gregor was not next to you in bed. Probably with some whore but you much preferred it that way

"Hello?" You said praying the noise was just a guard or a maid. Out of the shadows was jaime lannister

"Ser jaime! What in seven hells are you doing?" You asked him standing up and rushing towards him. You helped him sit down seeing his face bloodied and his arm cut badly

"Just thought I'd say hello" he mutters as you roll your eyes

"What happened?"

"Turns out your husband isn't entirely pleased with our growing friendship. He believes I love you" jaime says making you sigh

"Jaime, I am so so sorry. I never should've risked your life like this and my husband shouldn't jump to such conclusions" you say

"But he's right"

"What?" You ask. Jaime reaches for your hand

"I love you. We should leave. The only thing keeping me here is you. So let's go together. We can go to braavos or dorne. Somewhere the mountain can't reach us" jaime suggest as a few tears slip

"Jaime, I...we...no. I'm sorry. But we can't do that. I wish we could, truly I do. But our faces are too recognisable. Everyone knows who we are. We would be sent straight back to my husband and the consequences would be 10 times worse"

"I don't want to go a life without you" he says

"And I don't want to be without you. But it's a miracle you are alive. We can't see eachother anymore. It's not possible. I love you jaime lannister. I love you so much and that's why I have to say goodbye" you cry. That was the hardest thing you've ever had to do. In silence, you tended to jaimes wounds until he stood to leave your chambers

Once he was gone, you began sobbing. The door slammed back open and jaime runs towards you, smashing his lips to his as you both cry

"I will always love you"

"And I will always love you"
