The place where Seonghwa took me was an entrance in the forest. It was full of flowers and the grass was short, making everything look magic.

Seonghwa laid out a picnic blanket and we sat down, admiring the beauty of nature. We started eating sandwiches and drinking juice while talking about everything and nothing.

As the breeze was blowing my hair, Seonghwa took a strand and tucked it behind my ear, his hand lingering on my cheek. My heart was racing as I looked into his eyes, feeling the spark between us.

"Taeyong, I have to tell you something," Seonghwa said, holding my hand.

"What is it?" I asked, feeling anxious.

He took a deep breath and got ready to speak but his phone rang.

"Fuck off. Give me one second."

I looked at him as he got up and answered the call.

Seonghwa pov.

I wanted to tell Taeyong how I feel and make up everything between us but someone called me and had to destroy the moment. As I got up and took the phone out of my pocket I looked at the number and it was 'unknown'.

"Yeah?"

"Get your hands off my girlfriend dickhead. Don't even think about stealing her. You didn't even come and save her when I was with her, or how you shit heads call it, abuse."

"If you called just for this Seojun, I don't need your shitty games. Leave me alone. I'm not letting Taeyong in your zone anymore. I'm not letting her leave my side. Now if you would like, go and fight with someone else and leave us alone."

I ended the call and tried to calm myself down. I sighed and went to Taeyong that was now playing with a kitten. She's so adorable.

As I went back to her she looked me in the eyes and let the cat leave. "O-Oh you're back. Do you mind telling me what you wanted to?"

"It... doesn't matter anymore. But I mind giving you a ride back home. Come on. It's getting late." She nodded and got her things.

I helped her up and held her hand as we walked through the forest. I couldn't help but feel frustrated at how that dickhead was still trying to control Taeyong's life even now. I vowed to protect her from him no matter what.

We arrived at my motorcycle and I gave her the helmet. I got into my seat and started the motorcycle, driving out of the forest.

I looked in the mirror and saw her looking around the city and forest, lost in thoughts, while her arms were wrapped around my waist, tightly. I couldn't blame her for being distant. We haven't spoken much about our feelings these days and I was hoping this picnic would help us reconnect.

As we approached her house, I parked the motorcycle and turned to her. "Taeyong, I know things have been awkward between us. But I want you to know that I care about you so much. I want to be here for you, always."

Taeyong looked at me, tears pooling in her eyes. "Seonghwa, I care about you too. So much. But I'm scared... scared of getting hurt again."

I took her hand and held it tight. "I promise you, Taeyong. I won't hurt you. I'll protect you from anyone and anything that tries to harm you. Just trust me."

Taeyong leaned in and hugged me, her tears wetting my shirt. I hugged her back tightly, feeling the warmth of her body against mine once again.

"I trust you, Seonghwa," she whispered, her voice shaky.

As I pulled away from the hug, I slowly leaned to her ear and softly kissed her cheek. "You can trust me."

As we parted, I watched her walk into her house, feeling lighter than I had in weeks. Things with Taeyong were finally falling into place, and I was determined to make it work. No matter what.

As I rode home, my mind was filled with thoughts of Taeyong. I couldn't stop thinking about the way she looked at me, the way she hugged me, her soft pink lips that makes me feel butterflies everytime I look at them and they make me wanna keep my eyes on them.

I knew that I had to be patient with her, that I couldn't push her too hard. I wanted her to feel comfortable and safe with me, to know that she could rely on me no matter what.

As I got home I sat on the bed and looked at my phone. It seems like Seojun keeps threatening me. If keeping Taeyong safe means that I have to fight and do illegal things, then I'm in.
