Best friend

I've never had a best friend
All the good things had to end
Many times I thought I did
But it was just a trick

I knew one person
Almost ten years
But she wasn't my bestie
She told it herself

Then I met another
The one who healed my wounds
But soon I lost her
She found another

Maybe it's me
Maybe I'm the problem
But that doesn't change the fact
That I crave another

I crave another soul
Another person in my life
Cause being alone sometimes suck

For my whole life
I've been surrounded by people
But for the most of it
I was alone

Lost in the darkness
Lost in the crowds
Lost in my thoughts
Lost in the doubts

Always having trust issues
Does she like me or is it a bet?
Always just hanging by a thread

For the whole of my life
I've been alone
Even though crowds never left my side
