Prologue

"Ever since I could remember, I've had the same dream."

"In it, I meet a girl, we fall in love, get married, start a family, it is quite the happy life."

"I always had the feeling that the dream was showing me the future. A future that would lead me to happiness..."

"Then, exactly one year ago, I met her. The girl of my dreams. Coincidentally, she's an underclassmen at my school, only a year below me..."

"I don't want to talk to her just yet... one wrong move and I could ruin my chance at that happy future with her I've been dreaming about..."

"However, I took time to learn everything I could about her. To make her as happy as I can, to make her fall in love with me..."

"But... recently... I notice a boy has been falling for her..."

"He could ruin everything for me... I must not let him get away with it."

It was after school, and most of the other students had gone home already. However, Ananas Dragon stayed behind, waiting for the students in clubs to head to their respective club rooms.

It didn't take long for the students to leave, and Ananas Dragon made their way to the Cooking Club's room, which was empty. There, they found a knife laying on the counter, and picked it up.

After hiding the knife in their bag, Ananas Dragon left the cooking room, heading to the gender neutral bathrooms, going into a stall to wait for someone.

It didn't take long before another student entered, and his confused and slightly snarky voice filled the empty bathroom.

"Who would want to talk to me in here?"

Immediately realizing the student they were waiting for had arrived, Ananas Dragon left the stall, and faced the student that had walked in, Fire Spirit.

Hearing his footsteps, Fire Spirit turned around, his back facing the wall as he faced Ananas Dragon.

"Oh, Ananas! You were the one who sent me the note, right? Whatcha need me for?" Fire Spirit asked.

"I came to talk to you about that girl you have a crush on." Ananas Dragon said simply, but with an underlying predatory tone. "Blueberry Kitty."

"A-Ah... it wasn't that obvious, was it?" Fire Spirit looked away a bit in embarrassment. "What did you want to tell me about her?"

Ananas Dragon said nothing as Fire Spirit continued to look away in slight embarrassment. Out of his line of sight, they pulled out the knife.

In a swift motion, Ananas Dragon pounced on Fire Spirit, covering his mouth with their hand to muffle his screams. They lifted the knife, and drove it into Fire Spirit's chest, piercing his heart.

"She doesn't belong to you. You can't have her."

They pulled out the knife from Fire Spirit's chest, and let go of him. Allowing him to fall limp on the floor.

There was no movement, no reaction. Fire Spirit was dead.

With a satisfied smirk, Ananas Dragon started to clean up the mess they created. First, getting a trash bag and putting Fire Spirit's corpse in it. Then, used the mop to clean up the blood.

Once the area was cleaned up, they picked up the trash bag with Fire Spirit's corpse, and headed to the school's incinerator to burn it, along with the knife.

Making sure no one was around, Ananas Dragon left to clean themself up, changing into their P.E uniform and burning the bloodstained clothes.

They closed the gates to the garbage area, a smug smirk on their face, before hearing a voice behind them.

"Ananas?" Ananas Dragon turned around, seeing Wind Archer standing behind him with a slightly concerned expression on his face. They assumed that Archery Club got out early today.

"I saw you take a knife from the Cooking Club. Did you need it for some reason?" Wind Archer asked, his voice stern, but with a hint of concern.

"Oh, the knife actually belonged to the Home Ec room. I just returned it to where it belonged." Ananas Dragon replied, making sure to sound as unassuming as possible as he lied.

"Ah, I see." Wind Archer replied, turning to go home without saying another word. The smirk returned on Ananas Dragon's face as Wind Archer left, before they decided to go home as well.

...

"After I disposed of the guy who tried to steal my sweet and darling Blueberry Kitty away from me, I made sure to cover my tracks. I cleaned up every bit of evidence, or so I thought..."

"It seems I had missed a splatter of blood, and the police found it as the investigated the boy's disappearance."

"A potential murder at a prestigious school, that's some big news for sure, and the headmaster isn't happy about it... I heard he had a deal with the police to make the investigation as discreet as possible."

"I need to be careful moving forward in the future, but I can't rest yet... Another boy has taken an interest in her."

"A member of the Storytelling Club, highly lazy, but highly charming. I should dispose of him, but any other deaths would complicate things... But, maybe I could sabotage him..."

"Girls like charming boys, but if I can make it seem like his laziness is to a fault... maybe my dear Blueberry Kitty will lose interest..."

On Monday of the next week, Ananas Dragon saw Blueberry Kitty, talking with a member of the Storytelling Club, and their newest rival... Vagabond.

They knew they had to get rid of him, so Ananas Dragon stayed behind a tree, eavesdropping into their conversation.

"Hey, Blueberry! Got a second?" They heard Vagabond ask Blueberry Kitty.

"Hm? Oh, yeah. What's up?" Blueberry Kitty replied.

"I decided to make lunch for both me and my roommate, but he forgot to bring it with him today. I was wondering if you'd like to have it."

"Ah, sure! That sounds good!"

"Great! Here it is."

"Thanks! I'll put it on my desk for now, but ai'll have it at lunch!"

"Sounds good to me! Is it ok if we meet back here at 5:15 after school? I want to know if it tastes good or not."

"Sounds like a plan to me!"

"Great, see you back here!"

The two parted ways, heading into the school, and Ananas Dragon chuckled, in a mix of jealousy, rage, and pure amusement.

"He made her lunch?" They muttered under their breath, heading into school themself. "How sweet... to bad it was for my little kitten, and not anyone else..."
