The meeting

I spent a few minutes in my room waiting for the meeting to start. I layed down in my bed staring up at the ceiling until Eric knocked on the door and I got up and answered.

I saw him and I laughed, he was wearing a raccoon mask, a shirt with a C on it, a leather jacket, and some special effect claws.

He looked upset like he was about to start yelling "Sorry Eric, I was startled by the outfit for a second, it actually looks badass" I was stifling a laugh and lying straight through my teeth. He looked so fucking goofy he clearly wanted to talk about himself. 

"I am the C**n, the hero that watches for I love my town, I am the hero this town needs"

"I thought that was Mysterion??"

"No, hes a copycat but we keep him around, unfortunately. But anyway, we should get to the meeting"

"Hold on, I want to take notes" I grabbed a notebook off my desk and followed Eric er- the C**n down the stairs to our basement were most heros were gathered. I knew most their names from the research I did at the school library.

"Where's Mysterion??"Human kite asked

"No clue" Someone in the room said

I jotted down 'Mysterion is late' in my black comp book. "I'll be right back" I said walking up the stairs to the bathroom when the backdoor opened "W-whos there"

I started to step slowly towards the back door unarmed. Mysterion stumbled in "Y/n!!" He was beat up pretty badly "O-oh my god!! Are you okay?!?"  I ran through the room and into his arms, "Yes, I'm Fine, dont worry"

"Your bleeding, your not okay"

"Y/n, I'll be okay"

But it was too late, I was already looking in the cabinet for a ban aid. "Here we go"

"But thats a hello kitty ban aid"

"Yeah and..."

"That ruins my brand"

"Awwhhh is Mysterion scared of looking a little less edgy" It was fun to tease him

"N-no"

"Your bluffing!"

"No I'm not!"

"Then let me give you the hello kitty ban aid"

"Fine but only cuz it's you Y/n"

"Your too tall, sit the fuck down real quick"

I was putting the ban aid on him when Eric walked in, "WHAT THE FUCK?!" 

"I u-uhm, hi Eric.... I-"

Mysterion stepped in and grabbed me and pulled me close, god he needs to stop doing this, I dont want to fall for him, not now, at least.

"Leave her alone, you dont own her"

"Hahha your a fucking pussy Mysterion, you look like a girl ha"

"Come on, leave him alone, we have a meeting to attend too" I butted in. For once Eric just dropped it and walked back down to the basement in confusion. Mysterion was holding my hand now, I whispered in his ear "This is very off brand for you"

"Yeah well, I'm still the same person, I see what I want, it doesnt matter what persona im in, I want you "

I was flustered as we walked into the basement, he made my heart melt but I wasnt just going to ignore what my friends told me. Wendy, Bebe, Red, Heidi, Nicole, all my new friends told me how much damage he could do and he only liked whores and he doesnt do long term, he would get over me and it wouldnt take too long.

I sat next to him at the meeting taking notes and sketching little pictures on the side of the paper. They were talking about the Professor Chaos situation. Every once and a while I'd catch Mysterion staring at me but he was mostly in the conversation. It was nice. The meeting wrapped up and everyone started to leave.

Eric walked up the stairs to bed and I wanted to talk to Kenny, "Hey, can we go on that date tomorrow?"

"Yes of course" he broke character giving my hand a squeeze he opened the door behind him, he gave my hand a kiss "Goodnight m'lady, the darkness calls"

"Goodnight, my love"
