THE LOVE

You said your love had perished.
And i had to gather my strength and build a coffin to pack our love and bury it somewhere deep.

I had no choice but to silently attend the funeral of your love while my love swaying inside me.

I then nailed some pieces of wood to build a coffin  inside my heart and bury my love deep within.

I think we gave up when we both knew that we would need that love all over again.

They say that love comes to us when we need love the most, but they forget to say that love also leaves us when we need love the most.

We wrote different stories ourselves, only to learn that we would need each other, someday.

And years down the line, you exhumed the casket and embraced the decomposed love.

You fostered it with your love again just to see it grow...and our love just grew...once again, but not to forget the coffin is still there, ready for us anytime.

I sleep in the same coffin every night....it feels like home......
