scaramouche reread his mothers letter for the nth time this week, he was missing her more than usual.
ever since he read that letter, he blamed his stupid body, the gods who made him that way.
all those 'work' calls his mother got, were actually for his heart surgery. all those times, he thought his mother was selfish of even taking those calls.
he sighed as he folded the paper and put it back in its envelope. he didnt even notice the tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
he hated feelings. he hated emotions. if it werent for them, he wouldnt feel so weak.
