Uga Benzaitien (宇賀弁財天 Uga Benzaitien) is one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers from a thousand years ago. Regarded as the Queen of Curses and the wife of Ryomen Sukuna, Benzaitien is both the deuteragonist and one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Purgatory series. She also serves as the main protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Royalty prequel series.
According to legend, Benzaitien was an Imaginary Goddess during the Heian Era but in truth she was one of the children of the Dragon King Munetsuchi and a sorcerer known as the She Who Controls All That Flows and then later known as the Bride of Sukuna.
Benzaitien was incarnated in April 2018 when Chiyoko Hayashi wore one of her rings and is currently connected to Chiyoko until she collects all of her rings.
