Cakey stood in front of the bakery's exit, hesitating to be met with the outside world of this dimension.

Tamari sensed her nervousness and wrapped their arm around hers. "It might not sound convincing, but safety will guide us on our path."

Although Cakey kind of doubted that, she still smiled down at them. The short creature only reached to her shoulders, so Tamari started looking adorable to her. Not even she was sure how she was terrified of them.

Cakey took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm ready. Nana, you ready?"

"I've always been." She only accompanied the two travelers to translate Tamari's complicated statements and explain the mirror dimension further.

Slowly, Cakey pushed the door open, meeting with a huge world. Some areas could make you think you time travelled, for example the Old Western Saloons or the futuristic towers. Other places came straight out of fantasy worlds, like small parts of magical forests and houses made out of strange materials.

The three of them didn't only walk past normal humans, but also heroes, cartoon characters, robots, anthropomorphic animals and monsters. A tall, black creature teleported right in front of them, and as Cakey was about to move her eyes up at it, Nana grabbed her head and moved it down, forcing her to face the ground. "Don't look at its eyes, it's an Enderman," Nana warned.

After the creature teleported away again, Nana allowed Cakey to continue admiring the world.

She could've sworn to have found characters of books she has read. "This is so..."

"Crazy, we know," Nana finished Cakey's sentence. "Just make sure to- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

While Nana was talking, Cakey petted a Creeper, which was about to explode. The clown grabbed Cakey's wrist and harshly pulled her away, making it out on time. The creeper exploded and left a hole in the ground. "Oh... Have I done something wrong?"

"Yes of course you have!" Nana exclaimed. "This is a Creeper straight out of Minecraft! How come you don't know that?!"

Tamari started to sing out of nowhere. "Oh hi, I'm a creeper! So nice, nice to meet ya! Is that the time? It's time to leave, and tick tock tick tock! BOOM BOOM BOO-"

"You both! Shut up!" Nana said, also grabbing Tamari's wrist. "Should've brought some freakin' leeches or something. Can't take you guys anywhere!"

"If not friend, why friend-shaped?" Tamari asked, meaning the Creeper.

Nana sighed, inaudibly muttering to herself. Then she let the two travelers go. "Okay, we've got rules you need to follow in order to survive. Don't you dare stand out of the crowd. You have to pretend you exist here for a longer time, as if you're just normal citizens," she told, proceeding to stride forward with the travelers on her tail. "Just move along, it's nothing new. No touching this and this or that. Keep your tongue inside your mouth, don't say a word, a whisper." She stopped and looked back at the Tamari and Cakey, narrowing her eyes at them. "Understood?"

Both of them nodded simultaneously.

Nana exhaled. "Thank you. I don't want any of us to get in trouble, especially Tamari." She glanced over to him. "You know what happens if they catch you."

Tamari's smile immediately dropped, and they quickly nodded again.

Cakey's brows furrowed. Who would want to capture Tamari? Why would they do that? What would happen? She was curious. But it just wasn't the right time to ask.
