Mariana placed a binder down in front of Callie.
"It's to put everything in. From Wedding planning."
She wrote
"WEDDING PLANNING" in fancy letters.
"I have binders like this piled on my desk at work."
"Finding any of your cases in that mess was impossible."
"I'm not good at filing things away."
"I can tell."
"So, how are you feeling?"
"I'd be amazing if everybody stopped asking me that!"
"We are all just glad that you're awake and alive."
"I'd figure I'd bring something to occupy you."
"Yeah. Wedding planning is gonna require a lot of phone calls."
"Or you can just stay here."
"Why would I do that?"
"Technically you're supposed to stay in Los Angeles for a month."
"Tell Dr. Park he can expect me to be here for the whole month."
Mariana smiled.
She headed out.

Stef, Lena, Brandon, Jesus, Jude, Sophia, and me were in the hallway
Donald couldn't handle Callie looking at him with the blank look in her eyes.
Brandon tried to explain to him by maybe spending time with her, she'd remember him.
But Donald left.
Mariana emerged from Callie's room.
"I convinced Callie to stay here for a month. Like Dr. Park wants."
"How did you do that?"
"Making her realize how long Wedding planning is gonna take. And how many calls it's gonna take to complete all the Wedding planning."
"Mm."
"Before we do start planning, is there a budget?"
"No. Just keep it out of the zillions."
"Got it."
Mariana was talking with Dr. Park.
He nodded his head.
She walked away.
Mariana walked back into Callie's hospital room.
