I opened the door. I carefully walked into the office. I walked into the office I see a man who I presume is the Alpha and a lady who I believe is his mate the Luna.
"Hello, can we help you?" Sylvie asked.
"Yes, King Luther sent me." I said. Alpha Brock walked towards me and shook my hand.
"You must be Ace, I am Alpha Brock, and this is Luna Sylvie. We both want to thank you for what you did and welcome you to our home and to the Black Hawk Pack. You are welcome to stay here as long as you need or want to." Brock said. Sylvie just looked at him.
"Are you one man who (she took a deep breath) killed them?" Sylvie asked. I nodded.
"Adam killed Phoenix, and I killed Jason." I said.
She jumped up into my arms and gave me a hug. I hear a low but approving growl from her mate. So, I hugged her back.
"Thank you so much. Let's take you to lunch at the best Greek place in town?" Sylvie said.
"Greek food? Never had it. But, I'm intrigued though." I said.
"Selene's Tavern is the best. You will love it, I promise!" Brock said.
"All right. Sounds good to me!" I said.
With that in mind, they all headed to Selene's Tavern. Now Selene's Tavern is run by Selene and Eros Anders. They have two children. Zander Atlas Anders and Iris Rose Anders. Both their children help at the tavern. Zander and his dad Eros ran into the kitchen with a few other kitchen staff. While Selene, Jackie (Zander's mate) and Iris run the front along with a few other waitstaff.
The drive took about 10-minutes to get there. Once they got there, and found a parking spot. That when he smelled it: peaches and mango.
Mate is here! My wolf said.
"Talon, are you sure?" I asked him.
Yes Ace! I am sure she is here; I just don't know where at. My wolf said.
"Let's go to find her, Talon!" I said.
BROCK
We all headed into Selene Tavern, and I noticed Ace looked a little lost in himself. I am not exactly sure what that is about. But I have a suspicion though. We all are standing waiting to be seating when the Hostess comes up to the podium.
"Afternoon Alpha, Luna. How many for you today?" The hostess name Trina asked.
"Three please?" Brock asked. She nodded and grabbed menus and marked something on the seating board.
"Right, this was please." Trina said. We all followed her. "A booth ok with you all?"
"Yes this is fine, Trina thank you." Sylvie said.
"Thank you. Your server Sara will be with you in a moment. Can I start you off with something to drink?" Trina asked.
"May I have a glass of water with lemon, please?" Ace asked.
"Of course, sir, and for the Alpha and Luna?" Trina asked.
"I will have a Sprite, please." Sylvie said. Trina nodded.
"I will take a Dr. Pepper and hold the ice, please." Brock said.
"Absolutely, I will have these right out to you." Trina said,
She left the table. After a few minutes passed by. Brock asked Ace what was bothering him.
"Ace, what is the matter?" Brock said.
