One Favor (SasukexReader-Insert Story)

Chapter 30: Day 17 3/3

"Mom, dad?" I asked. They 'hn-ed.' Perhaps this was where the Uchiha and the (Last Name) clans mix..."What did Kurai do?" I ask. My brother grins.

"I forgot you guys erased her memories," he stated. Sasuke leaned closer to me and grabbed my hand with his.

"Well, sweety...Kurai dear was about to kill everyone in the family. It was said that one individual was helping him; however, no one died because we made the fire."

"You thought I was that naïve to think that you were dead?" He sneered. "I knew all about it."

"Wait," I shouted. Itachi and Charasuke hobbled over to our side. "Who threw those rocks the other day?" I queried. Kurai raised his hand.

"I did." So was he trying to protect me? I don't understand. Who's the bad guy in this scenario if he wanted to protect his little sister?  If what my parents said was true, then he had no intentions of killing me. And if that was true, then what was the reason that he was trying to kill the family? And who was the person that would assist him?

As if I asked this outloud, Itachi shook his head. "If you're thinking about who would assist him, it would be me." Silence engulfed the room.

At the same time, Sasuke and I went, "YOU!" He nodded.

"Actually, I knew Kurai since we were in elementary school. We were the observant ones out of the entire group. So Danzo, the leader of the FBI (pretend this exists in Japan), came up to us one morning. 'We need members like you in our group,' he says. Kurai and I agreed. We worked undercover for many years in the Akatsuki, which is a branch of the FBI. However, they ordered us to kill our families when you two were five. I gave up the mission at the last minute. Kurai followed suit. But after that, he disappeared. Where did you go?" He directed the last question towards my brother.

"I just left, ya know. We, FBI, don't give our information away. But if you insist....I killed the rest of the people in our family. The only family I couldn't hurt is the one that escaped to Suna. Now if you don't mind, I have to leave. Our final battle shall be in a place. I will give the riddle to you later." With that, the boy jumped out of the window. Kin was twitching with visible injuries.

"Let's erase this girls memory of her life and bring her to the hospital," Mom said. I held out my hand.

"Mom, please stop erasing peoples memories. This doesn't solve anything!" Mom sighed and nodded. Sasuke squeezed my hand.

"Don't worry. No matter what, I'll always be here for you," he whispered into my ear. I smiled and we all walked to the hospital.

After cruising to the hospital and fixing our wounds, we ran to the Uchiha compound house. Sasuke held a grudge on Itachi and stayed on the other side of me, while the older brother silently walked on my right side. My parents remained silent, but looked back at me to see if I was alive. I gave them a reassuring smile.

When we arrived, a note was on the steps. I was the only one to notice it and I slipped it into my pocket. Once we arrived inside, I read it to myself.

"The place of all beginnings,

Where you and I met,

There we shall meet again,

However as enemies and not family,

Be sure to remember this place,

Or I will kill you on the spot."

The final countdown is coming! Obviously its not for the story, but its for some people. *Cough* Spoilers *Cough* I'll go back to fighting and I'll leave you to wonder what I'm fighting for...
