"...Mm." She just hummed in agreement as she nodded
Suddenly, they both hear people talking
The boy gets down and grabs Hya on her wrist and hides behind the bushes
"Shh..." The boy pulls her close to him to hide completely from the people who are talking
"Isn't the marsh moon so beautiful?"
"Madam."
"I know."
"By the way, where is that child?"
"Isn't he supposed to be in his room?"
With that, the three people went back inside
"Are they talking about you?"
"Yes. During this hour, I'm suppose to be in bed."
"Come on, I'll row you back."
"Wait... who's boat is that?" Hya asked, pointing at the boat she used to come to the mansion
"It was mine. I purposely brought that boat to you. I knew you wanted to come here."
"Mueos? (Translation: What?)"
"But I thought you'd row a bit better."
"...Hah, you know... I thought I did." Hya said with a smile
The boy rows Hya back to the other side
"You know... you're my precious secret."
"I never told anyone and would never will."
"If someone finds out, they'll only spoil it."
"..."
"You know... you reminded me of someone."
"Huh?"
"You look exactly like her, she had the same name as yours as well."
The boy stops rowing the paddles as he looked down but he looked back up to look at Hya
"Please, Hya... promise me something."
The boy held out his hands
"That we'll remain a secret. Forever..."
Hya looks at his hands and looked at the boy and smiled and took his hands
"I promise. It'll be our secret, forever and ever."
The boy and Hya both smiled at each other as the marsh moon shines and reflects on the tides
'This was the night that I met him... the boy of my dreams...'

In Oiwa's house, on midnight, Hya was lying down on her bed, still wide awake
She stared at the ceiling, then looked at her sketchbook, seeing her sketch of the boy she met at the marsh house, then looks at the moon
