Alejandra was at home getting dressed for work, she had put on a white top with her scrubs then put on her shoes and got her work bag, badge and anything else. She then went downstairs she made a very small protein shake as she didn't have time to go for a run this morning, she grabbed it then left out the door with her keys got in her car and headed to grey-Solan hospital where she worked.
*skip car ride*
Upon making it to work with five minutes to spare, she got out of her car and ran inside the hospital and to the locker room changed her shirt, said hello to Meredith,George, Derek,Izzy and everyone else except for Alex.
Alex, her now ex Fiancée she had caught him cheating with Lexie Grey one of Meredith's sisters, she still hasn't spoken to him, she slammed her locker door shut and left the locker room to go do her rounds.
Checking the chart, she saw she had a patient in trauma room six, going there she entered
"hola mi nombre es alejandra como te llamas" I asked
Mi nombre es Valerie " she told me I smiled at her
"ok Valerie, ¿puedes decirme qué te duele?" I asked her
"sí, es mi estómago, me he estado despertando por la mañana y corriendo al baño vomitando y siento náuseas todo el tiempo, doctor, ¿qué me pasa?" She said my eyes grew wide at that (yes, its my stomach, ive been waking up in the morning and running to the bathroom puking and i feel nausous all the time, doc whats wrong with me?)
"cariño cuantos años tienes?" I asked her concerned
"tengo dieciseis años" she replies I nod and write it down as I know what this is but I don't what to freak her out (i am Sixteen)
"Esta es la Dra. Grey, te va a cuidar muy bien, vuelvo enseguida, muy bien, dulce niña" I tell her she nods as I leave the room and walk over to my mentor Dr.Bailey (This is Dr.Grey, shes going to take good care of you, i will be right back alright sweet girl)
"Dr.Bailey I got a sixteen year old in trauma room six, she says she's been waking up all hours of the morning running to the bathroom to throw up and she's nauseous, I'm just telling you I'm going to go ahead and order a rape kit and a pregnancy test" I tell her she nods
"Good idea thanks for letting me know Dawson, hey when are you going to Chicago?" She asks me I sigh
"This weekend it's my parents anniversary thing and before you ask no I'm not bringing Karev with me" I replied as I walked away from the short woman and ordered a rape kit and a pregnancy test, I absentmindedly touched my empty stomach thinking about my son that I lost due to a miscarriage I had a while back I sighed
The rape kit came back positive as did the pregnancy test I sighed as I looked at her
"Um the reason why you have been waking up in the morning running to the bathroom and throwing up is because......." I started to say as a lump formed in my throat
"What?" She asked
"Your pregnant " I answered
