Damon's POV

I am already cooking dinner because my parents are coming over.

I am living independently. I have my own house, and it's near my office.

About my parents, my mom is a retired professor, and my father is a retired architect. The company was originally his. My father taught me a lot, and when I was ready to handle the company, he gave it to me. My dad would help me when I needed his help.

My parents are on vacation outside the country, and they just arrived yesterday, so they said to come to my house and have dinner together.

I would visit my parents once a week or if I had time. And also, if I miss my mom's cooking,

I arranged the table and prepared the food when I was done cooking.

It's already 6 in the evening. Mom and Dad will arrive here any minute now.

After a few minutes, I heard a honk, so I went outside and opened the gate.

"Hello, son. I miss you," Mom said, hugging me.

"I miss you too, Mom and Dad." I hugged both of them.

"We have something for you," Mom said, giving me a medium-sized box.

"Thanks. Let's go inside. Dinner is ready. I invited them inside.

"Ok"

We went inside and ate dinner.

"It's so delicious," Mom said.

"I agree with your mom, son," Dad said while giving me a thumbs up.

"My cooking is always delicious." Of course, I got it from Mom.

"Uhum. I taught you well."

"So, how was the trip?" I asked both of them.

"It was fun. Your dad and I had a great time together," Mom said while looking at Dad.

"That's great to hear."

I can tell by their stares.

"So, son. Do you have a girlfriend already?" Mom asked suddenly.

"Not yet, but I am still courting her," I answered.

"We need to meet her. Right, dear?"

I suddenly choked on my drink.

"Yeah. We want to know her," Dad said, and they both looked at me.

"How did you meet?" Mom said excitedly.

"We met at the orphanage because she is also donating there, and she's an architect and an employee of Yohan in his company. I fell in love with her at first sight," I said while reminiscing about what happened in the orphanage.

"Oh. I bet she is so kind and a lovely girl to make my son fall in love. What about meeting her this Saturday? At lunchtime? At the house?" Mom suggested.

"Okay. I will tell her," I said.

"Great!"

"Anyway. How is the company, son?" Dad asked.

"It's doing great, Dad. No problems so far," I assured him.

"That's good to hear,"

We continued to eat and talk.

When it was already 8 in the evening, they went home.

I washed the dishes and went to my room to take a shower.
