The shift started off normal very few calls throughout the day.
Hen,Chimney and Buck was talking about the sexy firefighter calender, just then someone caught everybody's
"Holy hell who's that guy, I'd be straight any day for him" Hen said
"New Recruit, Eddie Diaz" Bobby said looking towards him
Chimney looks towards Buck "Better be working harder" he said while grabbing bucks stomach
Just the Chimney,Hen and Bobby starts walking towards eddie and begin talking
Buck gives Eddie a stern look and when Eddie notices then buck looks away quickly and goes to wash the Engines
(POV:eddie)
"Um who's that?"Eddie says pointing towards buck
"Oh thats Evan aka buck,nothing to worry about he's harmless and worried to much" Bobby says
"Don't think he likes me to much, he already gave me a stern look" Eddie says
"Try not to let him get to you to much eddie" Chim says placing his hand on his shoulder then walks away

(Time skip to earthquake call....)
The team was sitting in the truck making their way to a call and Buck happens to notice that Eddie is nervously trying to get ahold of someone
"Trying to get ahold of someone?" Buck says looking towards eddie
"Um yeah actually my son" Eddie says showing Buck a photo of Chris
"Aw he's adorable, what's his name?" Buck says looking towards eddie
"Uh Christopher he has cerebral pasly" Eddie says looking out the window
"Well I'm sure he'll be fine alright eddie?" Buck says placing a hand on Eddie's knee
"Yeah I guess, just worried" says Eddie

(Time skip to end of their shift)
-Buck walks up to eddie who's literally freaking out by his truck-
"hey what's wrong, Ed's calm down" Buck trys to calm down eddie by hugging him and rubbing his back with his palm in a circle motion
"Chri-christopher he's gonna hate me" be begins to sob into bucks chest
"Why would he hate you, your his father" Buck says while still rubbing Eddie's back
"Be-because his school ended hours ago and he's still there because of the earthquake" Eddie says while still crying
"Ed's I'm sure he will understand, want me to take you there to pick him up?" Buck says while holding both if Eddie's arms with each hand and looking into his eyes
"That would be nice,thanks Ev" Eddie says while wiping away his tears
"Alright well let's get going" Buck says as he pulls eddie along with him to the jeep
-they arrive at Christopher school and eddie runs in there and picks up Chris and spins him around, then sets him back on his feet and kneels down by him"
"Chritopher I'm so sorry, we got so busy at worked because of the earthquake, I swear I'll make it up to you" Eddie says while looking into Christopher's eyes
"Dad it's fine, your a firefighter I know how busy you was, I forgive you already" Chris says as he hugs his dad
-they both walk outside-
"Dad who drove you here,I don't see your truck" Chris says looking up at his dad
"My coworker,Evan" he says as he points at Bucks jeep
"Oh ok" Chris says
-the both begin walking to bucks jeep and eddie helps Chris up into the back then he gets upfront-
"You must be the famous, Christopher Diaz" Buck says looking in the rear view mirror
"That's me and you must be Evan?" Chris says looking towards bucks direction
"Mhm that's me" Buck says
"So you work with my dad?" Chris says
"Yeah, most of the time" Buck says
"Who's your favorite superhero?" Chris says
"Obviously superman" Buck says laughing
"No way me too!, I have a feeling we are gonna be great friends" Chris says with a huge smile
-Buck and eddie begin laughing,then they shortly pull up to Eddie's house-
"Thanks for he ride Buck, will you take me to work tomorrow too?" Eddie says
"Yea ofcourse but I better get going" Buck say
"Why don't you stay, it's almost midnight anyways?" Chris says looking up at buck
"Oh Chris that's up to your dad" Buck says looking at eddie
"It's fine with me" Eddie says turning to walk to the house
"Then I guess I'm staying" Buck says walking behind Chris and eddie
"Yayyy, we should watch a movie" Chris says
"Buddie it's almost 1am" Eddie says sitting on the couch
"But I dont have school tomorrow" Chris says with a frown
"Yea he doesn't have school tomorrow" Buck says mocking Christopher frown
"Really you two?, childish much but fine we can watch a movie this one time" Eddie says rolling his eyes
"We did it bucky!" Chris says hugging bucks legs
"We sure did" Buck says looking towards eddie with a slight smirk
-they get settled down and comfortable to watch the movie, and after a few hours pass Buck feels some weight on his side he notices that Chris is asleep, he looks at eddie and he's knocked out too, so he pulls out his phone and takes a photo, then he picks up Chris and takes him to his room and tucks him in he then walks back out to the living room to wake up eddie and make him go o his room-
"eddie!diaz!Ed's wake up!" Buck whispers making sure not to wake up Chris
"What evan" Eddie says while groaning
"Go to your bed,I'll sleep on the couch" Buck says
"It's fine you can sleep in my bed with me" Eddie says
-Buck turns red at the thought of sleeping in Eddie's bed with him-
"Are you really blushing buckley?" Eddie says while looking at Bucks cheeks
"What no! Your seeing things, come on let's go lay down" Buck says while helping eddie up an to the room
-the get to the room and eddie plops down on his side of the bed and covers up while Buck lays on the other side, Buck is facing Eddie's back then Eddie turns around to face buck-
"You were definitely blushing Buckley" Eddie says while smirking at buck
"Shut up Diaz, I was not" Buck says rolling his eyes
"If you weren't then, you definitely are now" Eddie says while placing his hand on Bucks cheek
-Buck can see and feel eddie coming closer to him but he doesn't stop him, Eddie cups bucks face with his hands and leans in and kisses Buck, Buck doesn't stop him he leans into Eddie's touch and deepens the kiss, and eddie pulls away-
"We should sleep we have a shift tomorrow" Eddie says smirking at buck
"Ye-yeah goodnight" Buck says while still shocked by the way Eddie kissed him
-Buck rolls over and falls asleep and so does eddie-
