Chapter fifteen

“Enjoy” Mom said and set down two plates in front of us

I felt my body humming watching Achilles try to make sense of what he was looking at.

“What is it?” Achilles asked looking at me but mom answered

“It Patroclus’s favorite” Mom answered excited

“White bread lightly toasted, bacon, over easy eggs, and strawberry jam” Mom explained

I watched Achilles pick up the messy sandwich and take a bite and he had an immediate smile on his face as egg yolk dripped on his lips.

“This is delicious, thank you” Achilles said to mom which made her face become brighter

“You two have fun, I had to run some errands and should be home around 6” Mom told us and walked out the door

Me and Achilles ate in silence. I don’t know if it was because dad was still in earshot or if Achilles was just so into his food that he didn’t want to stop at something so boring like talking.

We finished and went up to my room, I looked to see if dad would say something but again he didn’t even bother to look at me.

When we made it to my room, I forgot how barren my room was and I felt so much shame, I opened my mouth to defend my empty room again. Achilles grabbed me by the arms and tossed me on my bed and laid me down and straddled on top of me.

He leaned in and kissed me passionately, Suddenly all the shame and embarrassment I felt seconds ago and I kissed him back.

Feeling his fingers entangled in my hair and my arms wrapped around his waist, we held each other close until he pulled away.

“If I go to far, just say stop and well stop” Achilles promised and kissed my cheek as his hand went up my shirt

I didn’t respond just nodded in agreement as we continued

I never told Achilles to stop but after a while there was a mutual understanding that they both should stop. He was lying next to me breathing heavily and I was breathing quieter while studying him.

We were both still fully clothed and we didn't do anything extremely due to both our lack of practice .I wasn’t sure how much time passed but I didn't care, having Achilles next to me made it feel like time stopped.

“Oh” Achilles exclaimed realizing he forgot something

“Want to come to Deidameia's spring break party with me tomorrow?” Achilles asked and sat up on my bed

“Deidameia’s spring break party? Where?” I asked him and sat up next to him

“It’s at her parents summer home, her mom and dad will be out of town so she throws a party for the council members and some other people” Achilles said

“Will I be your date?” I asked hopeful

“Like your boyfriend?” I added and scooted closer to him

“Of course” He answered and leaned in and kissed me again, I felt him gently push me down on the bed and we started all over again
